Not sure if it was due to covid, but the selection was minimal... pizza, poutine, burgers and hot dogs, couple prepackaged ham sandwiches and that's pretty much it... the coffee was undrinkable. Also the wait was terrible especially that the place wasn't so busy.. should have gone to the burger grill downstairs. Once we were up there it was nice, but since it occupies 2nd and 3rd floors, its not easy to navigate all the stairs with ski boots on.. lots of ppl slipping down the stairs.

We've been a number of times and actually always enjoyed it (2022 & 2023). 2025, omg, what's happened? The Cesar salad has gone from being a really well made salad with plenty of ingredients, to a rocket mountain...... No draught beer. Minimal GF...... we'll go elsewhere until someone brings this back to the standard it used to be.

Small restaurant on the third floor of the main building at the village. The food is much better than the cafeteria but often requires a wait during the weekend. I recommend the pizza, it was piping hot (fresh from the oven) and the crush had sprinkles of salt for additional flavouring.

Hotel had high occupancy and the Lounge was serving only hotel guests. I was quite okay and understanding of this and the hostess told me I can go to the Alpine Social downstairs to get a table as I was not a hotel guest. So I went down with my family if 5 and asked for a table. The hostess at Alpine Social was super helpful and was getting a table together for us until the manager shows up and ask whether we were hotel guests. I was honest and said no and then he rescinded the table offer, ignoring the fact that his own staff told us that we could get a table. I had a good look inside the restaurant and there were only two tables sitting.

Again, I really don't have an issue with the hotel policy of ensuring their guests have access to on-site restaurant s. However when it's own staff makes a mistake and sends me to another place, they should own up to their mistake and in this case I felt we should have been seated. 15 minutes were wasted in this case.

Fairmont needs to enhance communication about their policies with...
