I went through the drive through a few days ago (that's what you do when you're in a time crunch) and ordered a coffee and a croissant, toasted with butter. They handed me the coffee and bread so quick I could hardly get my money out if one hand, into the other or pay much attention to the weird smell I assumed was coming from inside the restaurant. I felt very rushed as if they just wanted me to hurry up and get out of the way. I pull forward just enough for the next cat to pull up to the window and quickly out my change away.
I was driving, so without looking down, I feel around in the bag for my croissant, grab it and take a bite. It tastes kind of funny, but I think I must be finally catching the cold my husband has been fighting and it must be making my sense of smell and taste a little off. Another couple bites in, the taste and smell is to weird and too strong. I look at the bread in my hand and am disgusted and angry. It's black and shiny. Gross. That means 1)that it hasn't been toasted, it was thrown on a grill. 2)it was on that grill long enough to burn, which means it was there long before I ordered 3)they must not be checking the food before they send it out, or if they are, they should be slapped. Um, I mean written up.
This is not the first time there has been a problem with my order at this location. It's only when I order to go.... Whether it's inside ordering or out, it has only been my to go orders. I don't know of too much pressure is put on them about thier times, or if management does not care about quality control.
I would have called to complain or brought the croissant back that day, but like I said.... I was busy. Stupid busy. Now that I finally have time, it has been 2 or 3 days. They wouldn't remember me or my order and I'd look like someone trying to get something for free if I called now. I live Timmie's and generally have no issues at the other locations (except North Walmart location needs to properly clean sugar machine because it does not dispense correctly).
I did give 2 stars instead of 1 because at least...
Read moreNot even worth the one star I had to give. I go past here several times a week, so I stop in for a coffee and a snack usually. By far the slowest service of not just all Tim hortons I've been to, but also ANY drive thru restaurant I've ever been to. The quickest I've gone through the drive thru was 15 minutes, and that's only because I was the only vehicle in the drive thru. Many times I've been handed coffee or hot chocolate with the outside of the cup covered with fluid and food. Noone wants to grab dirty cups, drink out of dirty cups or bring dirty cups into their vehicle. Every time I stop here, they dont have at least one item I want. It's always "we ran out", "we haven't made any yet" or my favourite, at 10:35 AM, "we dont want to make any more eggs, so you have to order sonething without eggs " the drive through also has a pothole at the speaker roughly 6 inches deep. Been there as long as I can remember. I've seen several vehicles roll backwards into the vehicle behind them when trying to get out of the hole. They could at least dump even gravel in it for their customers. Or, perhaps some of the hard donuts they sell. They should hold up against a cars tires fairly well. I will be purchasing my coffee and snacks across the street at the Mcdonslds from now on when I go through town. Their coffee is cheaper, larger, clean drivethru which is quick and they even have...
Read moreSlow, inaccurate, and they just don't care. I've worked for the franchise for many years, and this Tim Hortons is by far the least inviting. 2 people in line when I visited, got called over to the other till only for the girl walk away when I got there. 6 staff on, I sat there while the other cashier took other people's order who had just walked in. One of the other staff gave the one who left me a talking to right then and there, which is inappropriate and probably embarrassed your staff member as it didn't sound constructive at all. When I was finally helped by Sarah, she was really nice and friendly. The only reason my review is 2 instead of 1 was Sarah. She was quick and courteous and made me feel like my transaction wasn't just another dollar made.
Dissapointed with my bagel having cream cheese on one side and having to go back to ask for a knife so I could properly prepare my food.
I came to Tim Hortons today for their quick, accurate service and professionalism I've come to know from the franchise and was sadly...
