Not bad. Some of the staff may be new from the looks if it and learning the program ide have to say. The food quality is nice, the pie is only one size which is great if you are two but not if you are one with minimal storage. Why I say this is, if your a rider and wanted to make this as a stop, would be nice if they made a biker size pie so we don't feel like we have to polish it off or toss it out as we can't carry on bike. Ide suggest two sizes. Keep the traditional 20" for 2 or more ppl but have a 12" personal size for those who don't want to share lol.. Price, well, I had what they referred to as a deluxe which really is pepperoni, cheese, green pepper and mushrooms. With a can of pop came to a total of 28.00 bucks that's a bit pricey but being wood fire cooked pie I guess it was worth a try. No competition around so that also probably affects the pricing too. Overall was a nice pie. Facility and packing. Parking not very biker friendly. The grounds are soft so you need to be mindful where you plant your kickstand. Ide like to suggest the owner puts a designated area for bikes and simply toss a few patio stones on the ground. They can work out the details for placement but that would for sure be appreciated by riders !!!! Seating is good as long as you're fine with outside dining. Lots of sun coverage with overside umbrellas so that's a plus. A nice little garden on the side if this place which ide like to think they get some ingredients from. The washroom was a little odd to see as the there is a window between the washroom and the kitchen and sound between the two is very clear so not much Privacy especially when the glass is open and just a screen to separate the two lol. Ide suggest frosted glass tint would be a smart thing. Anyways. Overall it was a good lunch. It was a planned destination as I traveled from Toronto to Dorset Pizza on Earth for that actual goal. To try that pie !!! It has been saved to potential stops when we ride through as a group... Good...

Crust is really well done, crisp and chewy at the same time, with a great taste to it. The problem with wood fire in my experience is that the crust (top and bottom) seems to burn before the pizza is truly done so the pizza has to be pulled out prematurely; no exception here. The perimeter crust ends up perfect but the dough that the toppings sit on ends up soupy and floppy even though it's paper thin. Also the cheese and pepperoni don't crisp up like it should and the more toppings that go on the worse it gets.
My main reason for 4 star instead of 5 is the pepperoni. Maybe another brand of pepperoni is needed, but it tastes like it was put on after the pizza was pulled from the oven, it doesn't crisp up at all, and the flavour is not on par with the rest of the pie. It might come back to what I mentioned earlier, the wood fire by nature simply isn't cooking the pepperoni (and other toppings) enough.
I would really love to see this place work out the science because it's close to being great. Maybe it needs to go into a conventional oven for a bit first then transfer to wood fire oven, I don't know, but there's an answer certainly, and I hope the owners seek it out. What I would try is putting the pizza first under a broiler with the perimeter crust protected from the heat with a guard, then pull out and do the actual cook in the wood oven. If it works, I want some royalties! If you can get a proper crisp on some newly sourced pepperoni and some char on the cheese, watch your sales fly.
Thanks for bringing quality pizza to the area though, and for running a friendly operation. Just fine tune things please, keep...
Read moreWent to Pizza On Earth today, after friends recommended that this is an awesome pizza joint, and ordered 3 pizzas at the store. The server told me it would take 1 hr for the pizza to be ready. Wow, an hour wait for 3 pizzas. We reluctantly agreed to wait as it was highly recommended. However, we realized that people who ordered single pizzas did not have to wait as long for their pizza. Well when we finally got our pizza, we brought it to the car and went on our way. As we decided to eat the pizza in our car we realized that one of the pizza wasn't even sliced. What a disappointment after waiting for an hour to get 3 pizzas. The pizzas tasted great but the service needs to be better. You can't charge premium price for a pizza and have such poor service. This is probably the first and last time we will be getting pizza here. We don't feel like a valued customer.
BTW the 3 customers (who were in a group but ordered separately) in front of us got their pizzas in 30 min while we waited for an hour. Attached below is a pic of how we had to eat our pizza because it...
