Johny's Java — Restaurant in Amherst

Great spot to grab your breakfast. Decided to pull off the highway for breakfast on the way to Quebec and didn't want bog-standard, American-owned fast food, so we looked up local joints, and Johny's was the one we just happened to pick. So we pulled a little further off the highway, and it was well worth it. Johny was super friendly and chatted us up while he prepped our order; it was the kind of genuine interaction you only get with people who really enjoy what they're doing - even when they're frying eggs and slinging coffee. He was laid back and welcoming - as if we'd showed up at a buddy's place for brunch. And the breakfast was exactly what we needed! A good bacon-and-egg breakfast sandwich goes a long way: everything was fresh, cooked just right, and perfectly hit the spot.
