The new management has drastically increased all aspects of this place. Years ago it wasn't a nice spot to go, but now this place is great. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced with a massive improvement in quality. A huge surprise was the burger I ordered. Locally sourced meat that's NOT a pre made patty. It's a homemade burger that's second to none. Very nicely done and tastes like a burger should with homemade fries. So refreshing to see a business going back to the basics of home style cooked food. Worth every penny. Wing night has two pounds of wings and a pitcher of draught for $30; a deal that can't be beat. Kareoke and live bands make appearances each week with good crowds and tons of participation. Very happy for the new owner and management that has really turned this place around. You should be extremely proud of yourselves.

The Elm Tree in Amherst has a great ambiance, perfect for a casual night out. The atmosphere is lively, especially when the live band is playing—it really adds to the overall vibe of the place. The food is generally good, and they have a popular wing night on Wednesdays and Thursdays that’s definitely worth checking out. However, we ordered the quesadilla during our visit and found it underwhelming for the price. It didn’t quite live up to expectations in terms of portion or flavor. Overall, it’s a solid spot for drinks, music, and wings, but some menu items might not be the best value.

First time my fiance and I went there since the new management has taken over and I have to say we will be back all the food we ordered was amazing and the mozza sticks where cooked to perfection 👌 and was so gooey when I bit into them, the burger and home made fries were amazing and also cooked to the way I liked and my fiance loved how crispy and how good the price was for 1 pound of wings I added pictures for context thanks for serving us and as always it's good to support local

We are from Ontario, friends of ours from Amherst invited us to a wing night. We went in at approximately 5:00 PM we ordered wings , a couple burgers for the children. We Waited for exactly an hour and 25 minutes and we still hadn’t received our food. I requested to speak to the manager then our food started come out really quick, after the food was put out the manager came to our table , I explained to her there was approximately eight tables that had came and left , ate and paid their bills and we were still sitting with no food . The managers response was how can I make it better. I thought to myself being a previous owner of a bar I wouldn’t put it on the patron what to do to make a customer happy. I do not recommend this place I don’t think I would go back, I would have left if we hadn’t already waited a hour and a half . I also think that the manager has to learn how to deal with customers instead of putting the onus on the patrons for an answer of how to handle the problem !! the food was good our waitress was fantastic she was a new girl and felt so...

I went to The Elm Tree on a few occasions this past weekend while visiting family and friends in Amherst.

My Friday lunch special was absolutely amazing. The food was hot, the portion was grand, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy.

Saturday night was a little more of a bar vibe as the hired DJ was spinning some great party tunes. The house was decently packed, the beers were cold, the staff and security were great.

Sunday evening was sparsely populated, but the service didn’t drop its game. Ashley was the lone bartender and did a fantastic job keeping everyone served.

I love this place and will return when I can.

Nick...
