PFK — Restaurant in Amos

I've visited this location twice. The first time I came for lunch, but I was told there would be no chicken available until 4:00 because the cook did not show up. The second visit, I managed to actually buy some chicken, but when I got home and ate my meal, it tasted funny. That's when I noticed the oil drippings on the bottom of the box. It was almost black because it was so dirty and probably over-used. Though the cashiers were friendly and professional during both visits (they even tried to speak to me in English which is impressive in Amos!), this location doesn't seem up to KFC standards and I will not be going back there again. Sadly, not...

It has been a year since my last visit to this particular KFC. It was a bad one. But I was passing by this area and decided to give it another chance. Boy! Am I happy I did! The customer service was the same: always friendly and efficient. The difference this time was in the kitchen. The oil was clean and the chicken was well prepared. It seemed that there was a very responsible cook there who did a good job. I got a barrel of chicken along with a mix of chicken fingers, chicken wings and popcorn chicken. All was deee-licious!

Bravo to this KFC for turning things around! I hope this will continue because I am already looking forward to...

Unfortunately poor service. Ordered online to save time, arrived 15 minutes later to find my order not ready - poor girl at the front was on the phone arguing with another client. I was eventually handed my order without the sauces, which I discovered when I arrived back at my hotel room.

The food is tasty but I expect to have my order prepared correctly, doubly so if I'm made to wait.

Not to cast any shade on the staff - in assuming that two people is short-staffed for a KFC. But ultimately I have to give poor marks...
