Pub la Terrasse — Restaurant in Amqui

Admittedly it was a busy Saturday night and there are not a lot of options in Amqui. Stay away from this option. The “new” calamari are obviously from a box. Snails not any better. The salmon was smothered in what appeared and tasted like thousand islands dressing. Probably to hide the fact that the salmon was a frozen chunk that had probably been in the freezer far too long. Add a handful of frozen mixed veggies that were cold.

Waitress was run off her feet with a few large groups while what appeared to be a heavy set owner / manager sat and drank beer in a corner, not even offering to help.

We entered the pub and were met by Mathew who was very helpful and sat us down.He was very respectful that I didn't speak French and told us our waitress Andrea would be right with us.Andrea only had four tables to serve and she wouldn't acknowledge us. We sat for over 15 minutes without a menu while she served everyone around us. This is no disrespect for Matthew who greeted us as he was very kind but Andrea made us feel invisible.
