The Wheel Pizza & Sub Shop — Restaurant in Antigonish

Alright, I used to live in Antigonish NS, and I have always said that restaurant food is the best in Montreal.

However, the wheel restaurant is one of those special places that surprise you with their ability to keep people coming back for more.

1st, let me say that the wheel is the best pizza you will find in all of NS. Now that that is out of the way, let me tell you that it's not just the pizza. It's also their donairs that are amazing.

The donairs are a large portion and are well priced. The Wheel donair can also come with pepperoni and melted cheese, which is really delicious. Not the tastiest in the east but still a delicious donair and worth the travel into town from the highway should you ever find yourself passing through. Even if you stop in for a slice, you won't regret it.

Stop in and give the Wheel restaurant a try and leave a review. Heck, maybe follow me if you agree with my taste buds.

My family of 5 decided to try this spot as everyone wanted something a little different for dinner after a long drive into town.

Spaghetti - meat sauce was ok. Had a good kick, but tasted a bit greasy and like it had some canned tomato sauce in it or ketchup?

Lasagna - excellent flavour! Kid ate her whole plate and wouldn't share another bite 😋

Pizza - chicken, mushroom, banana peppers - good topping coverage, good thickness on crust, nice and fluffy, well cooked. Generous with the cheese! (Although a bit on the lower quality)  Sauce was very good flavour.

Donair - very good sauce, lots of fresh veggies, meat a bit dry in a couple places, bread was too tough, but very good portions though!

Overall very good, especially for the price :) worth...

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a truly exceptional pizza from Wheel Pizza. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone during my order was incredibly friendly and helpful.

The delivery was handled by the friendly and professional Joe. Very nice & helpful with directions

The pizza itself was an absolute masterpiece! The balance of flavors was perfect – the cheese was rich and creamy, the sauce had a delightful savory sweetness without being overly spicy, and the meats were bursting with flavor.

I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite and would highly recommend Wheel Pizza to anyone seeking a truly delicious and satisfying pizza...
