COCO Cafe — Restaurant in Area A (Cassidy/Cedar)

WOW! Surprise! Surprise!!! What looks like a rather ordinary little, be it clean, cozy cafe, has delicious culinary cuisine. Old cliche applies, don't judge a book by it's cover.

Cafe is packed to the brim, you likely will have to wait to place your order, then wait again for the food to arrive at your table. Judging from what I observed, it has plenty of regular clientele that frequent this establishment. Once I tried my meal, I understood why.

Plus... delightfully, Coco's has a wide variety of freshly packaged, refrigerated entree's to chose from for your next meal or to put in the freezer for a later date.

Those with a sweet tooth can find some scrumptious offerings to satisfy their appetite. I tried the French Toast Cinnamon Bun for my brunch. It was a plate of sticky, yummy, gooey, goodness... overflowing with a rich creamy icing sauce. Added to that plate was three pieces of the best bacon I've ever had at any restuarant, made to perfection. Guard that bacon your life, otherwise your companions may be tempted to snatch it from you (even though they have their own).

Beyond the outstanding food, Coco's has some pretty impressive community outreach programs that they are involved with. Altogether, this place should have a solid FIVE STAR rating. Coco's Cafe is located in...

Good size cafe with a variety of comfortable indoor seating & bonus multiple outside seating as well!

The Food is Fantastic, my fave is the breakfast panini, wow always delish.

The desserts 🍪 & cookies are tasty too. Highly recommend! Feels so good to come here, the energy. The menu both food & drink choices, is excellent.

EDIT: my 4th visit (on my 4wk retreat in Cedar) I got the pre-made half smoked chicken wrap to go, wow totally worth $8, wish I'd bought 2 😋! Excellent quality, taste & filled to the brim with goodness.

I also ordered my 4th breakfast panini (to die for) with ketchup as usual

BUT instead of adding it on the side like all 3 other times, it was added to the sandwich!

~ still tasty (tho not as good as usual ie. Ketchup on the side) + super messy 🙈 so don't forget to always ask for ketchup, on...

Edit: The issue has been discussed and fixed. I went today at 8 am too. Orders were all perfect, customer service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Definitely going back.

Very disappointed this morning. I ordered garden bowl with poached egg and it was noted on my receipt and I also gave 20% tip because that’s the minimum we can do to support our local restaurants and cafes.

However, when I got my order it was missing the egg. When I asked, the person who took my order talked to the chef and came back to say that I need to go back to the front door to order again or for them to put it again (wasn’t clear why) and when I said I already ordered that and she went to check the receipt and found out that yes it mentioned poached egg, she said it wasn’t paid for. Not sure how this can happen but anyway, i don’t think the incident was...
