I recently had a terrible experience with **Asian Holiday Restaurant** at 2704 Blind Bay Rd, Blind Bay, BC VOE 1H0, and I feel everyone should know about it. It started when my mom called the restaurant to ask for some clarification about the menu. The receptionist was incredibly rude, brushing her off by saying, "We’re busy, I can’t explain it." When we got home and opened our food, it was disgusting—the smell was awful, and it was clearly not fresh. We immediately called the restaurant to explain the situation, but the same receptionist said she couldn’t help us. When I asked to speak with the manager or owner, she claimed the owner wasn’t there, which I later found out was a lie. I decided to take the food back to the restaurant to resolve the issue. When I got there, the receptionist was still unhelpful, even telling me she was 22 years old and had anxiety, which had nothing to do with the situation. I insisted on speaking with the owner, and suddenly, he emerged from the kitchen. Instead of addressing the problem, he was extremely rude to my mom, going as far as telling us, "Don’t come here again." I’m sharing this to make others aware of the terrible customer service and poor food quality at Asian Holiday Restaurant. We all deserve better, and I urge everyone to think twice before ordering from them.

I've been thinking about and craving the Shanghai fried noodles since eating here a week ago! The owners of this restaurant take so much care to source locally and make their sauces in house which you can really taste. Consistently delicious food and run by a family that has been feeding the community for decades.

We ordered a huge selection of dishes from Asian Holiday for takeout while on a trip to Sorrento and all the dishes were amazing. The Paris Prawns are especially to die for! 10/10 Highly recommend.

My family and I came here looking for vegan options, and they went above and beyond for us. We ordered the tofu with black bean sauce, hot crispy tofu, almond gai ding, and the mini spring rolls. We were assured that everything we ordered was vegan. One of the owners served us and she was super kind and helpful. All of the food came out less than 10 minutes after we ordered, and it was SO delicious. The veggies were fresh, and all of the dishes were so flavourful and nourishing. My favourite was the hot crispy tofu. We will definitely be back much more in the future!

One piece of feedback: I wish the vegan items had been clearly labelled on the menu. I was hesitant to go at first because I wasn’t sure they would be accommodating to vegans after browsing the menu on their website. I was so glad my family decided...

Stopped in on recommendation to try their wor won ton soup, but were disappointed in both the quality and quantity of the soup. Never mind that for this amount of food we paid $24 in the end. The atmosphere, such as it is, is not inviting and we won't be returning there. Perhaps other dishes are a better value and taste nicer, but we won't chance it. Although the only customers for lunch, we had to remind the server to bring us our tea....
