Went to Finz pub for dinner tonight, I have always had good experiences except for this evening. I would like to start by saying my server Lexi was fantastic and my house made ceasar was delicious!

We started with the artichoke dip which was served hot and tasty! This is where the good in my review ends.

I ordered the $24 Ramen bowl and added the $8 chicken ($32) I was served my dish and it was barely warm. I requested some hot sauce as like things on the spicy side. I started to mix all the ingredients together only to realize the broth wasn't hot. The noodles weren't pre-cooked and the veggies were ice cold, so while mixing it all together it became almost room temperature. I advised the server who assured me a new bowl would be prepared. Less than 5 minutes later I had a bowl set in front of me and was warned that it was extremely hot "be careful". What I immediately recognized, it was the same food I had sent back (all the ingredients mixed together unlike the original, where the ingredients were separated and presented nicely. Dry chicken and a bonus nuked green onion stuck to to the side of the bowl). She wasn't wrong the bowl was hot! Because it had been put in a microwave..... Sadly the ingredients were still not hot and overall lacked flavour and wasn't edible.

Lexi was super apologetic and appreciated that I wasn't going to eat this. She told me she would have the manager come speak with me regarding it...... a few moments later "Janice" approached the table to apologize that I didn't "like" my food. I advised her that I hate sending food back but was willing to give them a second chance to remake my food. She immediately said "I watched them re-build your bowl" I let her know that wasn't possible as it didn't come out looking like it did the first time. She then said "oh" when I disagreed. I told her I'm a huge fan of Ramen and it's not super hard to make "good broth, good noodles, fresh veg etc" she said "I know! That's why I put it on the menu... it's cheap to make".

I was asked if I wanted anything else to eat, but I was no longer hungry. I was more disappointed in the overall quality of the food. (Green tomatoes and lettuce cores on my friends burger) when asked if there was something else they could do, I said I didn't want anything out of the kitchen, so they could make us a couple of shooters. I didn't specify what kind, so we were given "apologies shots" that were supposed to be lemon drops but they were shy on the vodka.

I normally would have walked away seeing as they took the Ramen off the bill, however I'm far more disappointed that "Janice " the "manager " pretty much lied to my face and said she watched my food being remade until I pointed out the impossibility. Her flippant attitude suggested she didn't really care that we were not happy.

I will likely go back because it has great service, drinks and a beautiful patio but it's unlikely I will order food again due to it's price and clear lack of care in the quality of the food...

where to even start. If you're looking to camp here I'd recommend you don't. from the service to the site's to the smell, this place is a dumpster fire.

Was told on the phone 3 months prior that they will accommodate my boat launch as i have a 40 foot motorhome. On arrival not only did the manager (susan) call me a liar, but they did everything in their power to make figuring out a new solution as difficult and expensive as possible.

Open sites available to fit my boat there until it could be launched by a reputable company they wanted me to pay for. extra cost to launch they wanted me to pay for. the half cost up front to moor the boat they would not refund even after refusing to let me moor it there. Because, no insurance. they have nothing on the website about insurance, they didn't tell me about insurance, there's nothing on the confirmation email about insurance, and insurance is not mandatory. the reason they require us to have insurance is because they themselves have none. Too cheap to have their own insurance so its everyone's fault when they don't read minds and show up expecting a great time on the lake, instead are greeted by greedy, pushy and rude staff (susan).

when you enter the campground the first thing you smell is sewage. Hoping it's a one off and will go away in a bit, it doesn't. The whole campground and even over at the restaurant reeks of sewage. Next your met with the smallest sites, smallest roads to navigate. It was all cool when i called in to book in advance, but they don't tell you that these are barely tent sites, not an rv resort.

Over the course of our stay we found that infact it was only susan that was the issue here. She's the one that runs the whole place. She is well known in the community for being impossible to deal with. Locals know her by name and tell stories of her running people out of the resort. Even her own husband steve came up to my wife and daughter to apologize for her behavior. Too bad he didn't step up and tell susan herself.

We will be sure to tell our friends, family, and any stranger willing to listen to make sure they...

We are having an incredible experience at Finz! The staff are exceptional, the grounds are beautiful, and the food at both the café and restaurant is top-notch! At the café, the ice cream window is awesome and we have used it likely too often. The iced coffees and lattes are awesome, and they have milk options! The quality of the gifts and clothing in the little gift store surprised us, you can see the thoughtfulness behind what they bring in. One of the staff was explaining how they are conscious of keeping things local, which we found very respectful and thoughtful. We have eaten a fair bit at the restaurant and found the staff very kind and great at what they do, and have never had a bad meal no matter what we order! The mussels, wings and the fish and chips, are noteworthy! The campsites are spotless, quiet, and equipped with full hookups. Fairly easy to get into, and we haven’t experienced any issues at all with hookups. Meeting so many friendly repeat customers really highlights how much people love it here! It’s also very pet-friendly, which is a big plus for us and the many other happy pet owners we’ve chatted with. We are pleasantly surprised by the convenience of the on-site coin laundry—much better than making a trip to Salmon Arm or Chase! The location is perfect, with a nearby grocery store, a quiet little beach for swimming or floating, and plenty of rental options for those seeking a bit of adventure. It is so convenient to have moorage; and appreciate how insurance-conscious they are as it takes the worry out of leaving your boat moored there with along with the others. They also sell gas at the dock, so having that convenience is exceptional and rare. We arrived excited to be here and are constantly amazed by how consistently genuine, kind, and helpful the staff are. They have thought of everything! We’ve found our forever...

We drove our pontoon here for dinner after a day out on the water. The staff member on the phone was extremely helpful and told us where to dock our boat. We made a reservation ahead of time as there was 6 in our group, and we had an awesome table on the covered and heated patio. The view from our table was amazing! Firstly, the food portions here are huge! I had the buddha bowl and yes, it's a pricey $30 but the portion is ginormous. I added salmon and appreciated that it was juicy and soft. My friends had the crab cakes which was "the best" they've ever had. I had a small bite and could see why. They also had the poutine (lots of cheese curds and gravy), pizza (again a huge portion), and the fin burger. For dessert my boyfriend had the churro donut with ice cream. The donut wasn't heated up which was a bit disappointing. Our friends girlfriend had the peanut butter cup though and she loved it. It looked and tasted just like a Reece's Pieces cup. A few of us at the table ordered some boozy coffee to go. None of us would recommend it because the coffee was very watered down, and some of us had to take a few sips to figure out if there was even any alcohol. We actually thought they messed up our orders and gave us regular coffee! If coming to this restaurant by boat, make sure to leave at a decent time before it gets too dark. Make sure to also double check the weather because we ended up getting caught in a storm on the way back home.

The location, view, and service were great. However, the food is horrible. I wasn't very hungry, so I ordered a side house salad with chicken breast. $19 was crazy. But I didn't want to get anything else, so I bit the bullet. The chicken was pre-cooked and regrilled and dry as hell. I couldn't eat it so I asked for a new one, the staff were really nice about it and they gave me a second dry chicken breast. At this point, I didn't bother complaining, didn't eat it, and they could tell but understood nothing fresh was going to come out of that kitchen. The alcoholic drinks were okay, drinkable but not amazing. I recommend sitting outside as it has a lovely view of the dock and lake. Be warned of the wasps! They were everywhere and spent the whole time shooing them away! We then saw churros on the menu, and we're overly excited to try it! It was so horrible we did not eat it. It was not a churro! It was basically paper covered in cinnamon sugar. We left the churros behind and inhaled the chocolate drizzled vanilla ice cream. Surprisingly, the best ice cream I've had in a very long time, that or I was starving and couldn't tell. I would come back to this restaurant solely for the ice cream minus the churro and for the view/ atmosphere. People in the surrounding tables were also very friendly, sparked up a few conversations with the guests next to us, and behind us felt very inviting!

Had an absolutely wonderful experience camping at Finz resort! The campsite was very well maintained staff super helpful and friendly. The cafe was amazing! Was nice to get a latte in the mornings. The bathrooms and showers were extremely clean and not over priced to use the showers at all. The restaurant was delicious! Some of the best calamari I’ve ever had! The chicken bites were phenomenal! Also friendly staff. I would say this was by far one of the best places to camp! I will be back next year. I would only have one complaint and that would be the food delivery trucks dropping off orders at 5 am. The trucks are extremely loud and part right next to the rvs they are very loud off loading the off and to top it off they are whistling. This was everyday I was there for 10 days. Made sleeping not pleasant as were woken up at 5 am daily. Some days there would be multiple trucks from 5am to 8:30am. Maybe doing food drop offs would be better by the restaurants. I would need to get a lake side spot instead of site 12. All in all was super fun.
