Duffer's Grill and Lounge — Restaurant in Area C (Blind Bay/Sorrento)

I agree with the last two reviewers as we stopped in here today while on a move job for a quick lunch on route back to Kelowna and was not so quick! Even though I was in work mode and in work clothes I do like the energy of golf courses typically.

Music was good though.

Service so darn slow and after a mess up on just a simple order of no onions for one burger and another that had mayo on it and he hates mayo to the max, we got my 2nd burger at the 1 hr mark! It was not all that busy either.

The menu as well is quite limited with few options to try and choose from!

I am going easy with 3 stars as I did get 2nd burger taken off and an apology but I thought: I do think so!

Burger was good but was just the burger and no fries and even though a burger and beer deal...kind of cheaping out!, yes?

When an order takes so long too, why not offer up some free fries to snack on??? We also had to ask on that beer when the first of food was finally out to us at the 45/50 min mark and then mine came at 1 hr waiting time.

Some free fries to offer? A beer comp perhaps? Easy to figure this stuff out on long unnecessary...

One of the worst experiences I've had in my life. Been going here since I was little. Ordered Steak (Blue) and Prawns. Overpriced at $25 just to get my steak well done, and vegetables and prawns luke warm. My baked potato served in tin foil and dry without condiments. My drink was Rye and 7 and it was weak and with way much ice.

Only good thing was the yam fries, perfectly crispy.

Service was not to standard, well below Infact with my server forgetting nearly everything. As well not exactly professional when nearly turning down service to myself and my friend for not having reservation, but then doing so to some Seniors that easily could have...

My brotger, Jacques Perreault and his bride of 41 years, Nancy, came for a visit on their anniversary on April 30th 2018 from Germansen Landing in northern BC. and we met them at Duffers Den . Their beautiful daughter Etoile and her man BJ from Blind Bay joined us . We had a wonderful visit and our server Shyla was awesome. She was very friendly and patient with us. We arrived for 5pm and left shortly after 8pm. We highly recommend Duffers Den, the food was great and the music was very soothing and helpful for our conversations.
