Service was incredible!! Gabby (I hope I’m spelling her name right) was very attentive, friendly and helpful. She always has a smile on her face and she gave us a really good overall experience. Food was also good! My fave was the crab spring rolls with the sweet dipping sauce. The fire cracker prawns was good as well (not spicy at all in my humble opinion), that garlic bread dipped in the sauce was MWAH chefs kiss. my fries were thicker cut but it was cooked thru and it was very yummy! My falafel wrap I had just a couple of bites but it was full of flavour and spices. Yum yum! Only thing was the wings. I find when you make chicken wings if you batter them they help to soak up the sauce a bit so it’s not as bland. Otherwise really really make it saucy! Ours wasn’t breaded and we found there wasn’t a lot of sauce on it so it tasted kind of bland and dry. The sauce was good tho! Will be back! :)

After searching Penticton and Oliver for a place that served Prime Rib, I was unsuccessful. I ended up driving past Ye Olde Welcome Pub’s sign and saw they had it today as a special(Friday). It was meant to be, and was delicious! Such a great pub off the highway, and a must stop! Ordered a couple appetizers, and also the chicken penne with a pesto sauce! The pub was clean, friendly and awesome staff, and food that I want more of!!!😁

We called with the intention of reserving a table for a family dinner. We ordered a coke and a pint of stout. When I received the bill of $17.73 I was flabbergasted. Looking at the bill the beer was $12.00 PLUS TAX.This is ridiculous! We paid and did not book a table for our dinner.I know that running a business is expensive but this was beyond. Called at the Firehall in Oliver and made the reservation.

I’m a local and have been for over 30 years, we have seen this place change ownership multiple times over the years, one gentleman did a major renovation of the Gallagher lake pub, but it always lacks the same thing, the quality of the food. With the new owners taking over and really cleaning up this pub I applaud them because this business is a tough business and you want to keep people coming. After the Flealess hound first opened we thought since it’s down the street we would give it a try, the service was awful, but we could tell the waitresses were overwhelmed because they were understaffed and it was packed and being a weekend. It took forever to get our drink orders let alone our food order, and when the food arrived it was seriously under cooked, as we found out there was only one cook there that night. Disappointed but understandable everyone is trying but they need to work the bugs out. The next time we decided to try it was a month later in the middle of the week. The service was better, not great, but better because it was not very busy, when the food came I was disgusted now at the quality of the food, especially the way it’s advertised in the menu, I ordered the slow roasted 1/2 of a chicken and you could clearly tell it was deep fried and tough. I understand the restaurant business is expensive to run, but this day and age not many people want to spend their hard earned money on bad food and expensive drinks. I feel bad for the owners who have invested their money into this business because of inadequate cooking could jeopardize their investment or they simply don’t care. Because tourists come and go during the summer months but us as locals support you year round.

The owner invited us on google reviews to try their new menu change, and we tried it tonight, we ordered the stuffed chicken at 5 pm but sadly they were sold out, but I had the short rib and my wife had the hangar steak with calamari as a starter. The food was really good, the service was prompt and we were impressed of the immediate change in the menu. As locals we will be back and support our local restaurants in the lean months as the...

Should've listened to the reviews ..Tried it and never again...We rode our bikes in this scorching heat and was completely exhausted so we decided to check this place out since we pass by it every week when we visit my in laws in town. My first impression was The Place looks neat on the inside and out but that really didn't reflect our experience here. They have a nice open patio out back so we really thought we were in for a treat and found a nice pub to try since there's not many good options nearby but we were dead wrong....It took nearly an hour to get our food and this is when they just opened and there were only two cars parked out front. The waitress that served us was nice but she didn't even bother to let us know or check onthat the food was gonna take nearly an hour and there were only 4 of us. I decided to try the wings which was a huge mistake. It was flavorless and undercooked it's almost like someone just zapped it on the microwave ..so after trying the 2nd wing I had to put it down and just called it quits...the ice cold water tastes better than my food and that's a first for me. My wife and my in-laws were also forced to eat their meals as well. Overall our experience was not great. This is definitely off our list and we'll just stick to the Osoyoos area for better food options. One last thing I think it was cute that they comped the 2 Arnold Palmer's that was horribly awful on our bill but not the...

I wanted to like The Welcome Inn but my experience there with my wife was very disappointing.

The good: Appetizer of cauliflower bites were awesome super crunchy but soft on the inside. Our waitress Lisa was awesome super attentive always refilling drinks and checking in on us. The decor is very cool very interesting and fun.

The bad: 1st we ordered the pizza special unfortunately it must have been a bad night. 2 other orders before ours were either burnt or something was wrong. Than we received ours which was also wrong, and very soupy all the toppings slopped off as we tried to pick a piece up.

2nd we sent the pizza back and had to order something else as the pizzas take 30 minutes to remake. We were hungry and ordered something quick, nachos. The large nachos seemed from the surface to have a decent amount of toppings. However once we ate the top layer we were left with half a plate of plain nacho chips.

Pizza was refunded small bill discount was applied. It must have just been an off night, understandable. In the future we would love to try the place again and try the pizza special as it...
