A bit of a tourist trap, but the ice cream is good and the staff is friendly. There are some unique items from local producers here - nectarines were especially good on our visit. Edit: In retrospect, the 'tourist trap' comment was a bit un fair.. while this place might fit that description in some sense (there is a lot of touristy fare and souvenirs etc.) you aren't in anyway forced to purchase anything, and the products are all of high quality and locally sourced. Would for sure come again!

Great experience and unreal view of the Enderby Cliffs on their patio! What doesn’t this place have?! Giant cow, Windy Waver, Playground, cool local clothes, a British section, tons of other countries represented, fresh lunch counter, and way more. Around each corner was a new surprise! I bought a hat from Shuswap Beach Co. and it was so cool my brother went back and got something from them as well. Definite new great stop when you’re visiting the Shuswap/Sicamous area!

I had a nice presentation by a woman upstairs about essential oils,. Thanks to the beautiful Carlie. I had the spicy taco with chili it was awesome felt like I was eating homemade. My mother enjoyed her hot beef sandwich as well. They have a wide assortment of homemade jams, beautifully designed pottery handmade, fresh fruits and vegetables. You can always just stop in for ice cream to look around , you may catch a cow being automatically milked thru the window.

If I was the owner of this market I would be ashamed of my quality of staff. There is a lot of work that needs to be done if they want return customers. It’s clear that every single member off staff needs a lot more training before being put to work dealing with customers. It seems like the staff aren’t familiar with what’s on their menu. I could have gone behind the counter and put my families order through with more luck. The restaurant side seems like an after thought even upon entering the establishment. There are large menus put up that show coffee/tea and ice cream but it isn’t clear until you get to the cash register where you are supposed to order your breakfast/lunch items. I overheard a few customers ask where they were supposed to order food. The wait time was extremely long for our family of 3 after ordering some pretty simple items. (Beef dip, kids mac and cheese, and caesar salad with chicken) We were waiting for a good 30-45 minutes. A warning about how long the food would take would have been nice. The market seems extremely under staffed per the amount of customers coming through. 3 waitresses for 25-30 customers isn’t enough for quality service. When we finally received our lunch it was extremely disappointing. I ordered a Caesar salad that was absolutely smothered in dressing with chicken. The chicken seemed about a week old and was very dry and cold with no seasoning present. After being disappointed with that choice I decided to order a Thai salad since that was my back up option. I ordered with a waitress to go since we were running low on time after waiting 45 minutes. I asked after ordering and paying if I needed a number for when my food was ready. She said no and that she would come and find me when it was ready. My family and I waiting for what seemed like another 30-45 minutes before deciding to go back to the cash register and ask where my food was. The waitress said she forgot to “save” the order and they would offer us a refund. We took the refund and left the establishment very disappointed. This place looks very inviting for tourists with lots of things to see and fun things to do with children but we will most definitely not be returning. I hope the owner recognizes how much work they need to do with their staff and restaurant side of the market to have satisfied customers. Next time our family will pack sandwiches instead of waisting our time...

We went a few days ago and it’s such a great place! Getting to see the cows getting milked was so interesting. When we first arrived, we went over to the fence to just see the cows, and one immediately came over and tried to lick my face, so I assume they receive some great socialization in order to be so friendly. We bought a few treats at the market, they were delicious! Towards the end a gentlemen showed us the calves who were just a few weeks old, they will pull at your heart strings!! They’re so sweet and affectionate... who knew cows could be so loving! Overall I think the general affection of the cows (which I’ve never seen before) speaks volumes to how well they’re treated and how happy they are, which leaves you with such a good feeling and allows you to really support a great business! It was the highlight of my entire week long vacation, so thank you for that.

On the way out I did have some questions but the inside was busy and I couldn’t find anyone else to ask a few of my questions to, so I emailed them! Hopefully I hear back so I can learn more about their farm! If you’re in the area you have to stop by this place, you’ll leave...

We really really want to love this place. The food (when you get it) is excellent. But two weekends in a row, its just been lackluster service. Our first visit we waited for over an hour for our food, never offered any type of top up for our drinks, even though there seemed to be servers wandering around aimlessly. As someone who has worked in the food industry for many years, I just put it in my mind as being the beginning of the season, and unexperienced. We were comped our meal, which I thought was a lovely gesture and were very appreciative. So this weekend we decided to try again, and it was the same as before. We waited 20 minutes for drinks, which were a simple orange juice and coffee. And then waited for an hour again for our food, which when it came out was wrong. We were hungry, and ate because we figured it would take another hour to get corrected, if we could get the attention of our servers. I understand that it was busy, but there seemed to be a complete lack of organization with the servers. Even a coffee top up if offered would...
