Honestly stumbled on this gem by accident - reservations at another restaurant were cancelled last minute and needed to find something open on a Monday night that had some vegan choices. OH BOY what a surprise. Located on highway 97 between Peachland and Penticton at the Greata Ranch exit and overlooking the lake, 19 Bistro is a spectacular glass building with a huge patio, that, on a better weather day, would have been perfect. The menu is simple with choices for all cravings and palates. We settled on the charcuterie board and a vegan/gluten free pizza recommended by the staff. The pizza was out of this world and the gluten free crust was NOT the usual cardboard/melba-toast texture of others - it had body and texture which allowed the roasted onions, garlic and loads of mushrooms toppings to be the focus. Truly one of the best vegan/gluten free pizzas, or any pizza for that matter, we've had in a long time. The charcuterie board was a whimsical mix of the usual with a couple of surprises - a wine/berry compote that cut the buttery textures of the cheeses, and some toffee/crunchy pieces for a sugar hit.

We finished with the Sunrise Terrine topped with coconut whipped cream - a perfect ending to a...

We came for a romantic dinner at the 19 Bistro at the Fitzpatrick vineyards!

We sat on the patio overlooking the vineyards and lake. It was a beautiful afternoon!

We had the Sudden Inversion wood fired pizza, a Burrata salad, wine, cherry Sangria and a Passionfruit Mule.

The service was excellent, and so was the food and atmosphere.

The pizza had a good balance of toppings while keeping a thin crust that had a good texture and taste. We got to slice it ourselves with large pizza scissors, which was fun!

We love a good Burrata salad, and the one at 19 Bistro is very good. I personally don’t drink a lot of wine, so I had a Cherry Sangria and the Passionfruit mule, both of which were full of their own fruity namesakes and quite refreshing. My partner very much enjoyed a couple of the Fitzpatrick wines! We have a case of their wines now to join us on the rest of our trip and take home.

Thank you for the charming dinner and drinks, we would love to...

Wow, what an incredible experience we had at this bistro! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the patio was the perfect spot to soak it all in. The food? Oh my goodness—it was delicious and of such high quality! We paired our meal with a delightful sparkling flight that made everything even better.

Our server, Summer, truly made the evening special with her warm smile and attentive service. If you go, you HAVE to try the fish tacos—they're simply unbeatable! And don’t miss out on the mini cheesesteak; it's bursting with flavor! The homemade chips were a lovely surprise—so crunchy and perfectly done, without a hint of greasiness. The pizza and kale salad added to our feast, leaving us spoiled for choice!

I fell in love not just with the food, but with the stunning natural beauty surrounding this place—the lake, the mountains, and the gorgeous vineyard decorations were like something out of a dream. I already can’t wait to return for another...
