Also It Is Very Convenient What With The Huge Three Entrance Parking Lot That Makes It Accessible And Easy To Find Parking Whether You Drive A Big Rig Or A Motorcycle. The Wait Staff Are Perfect And The Food Is Good. Also There Is A Great Variety Of Just Plain What You Would Expect From A Canadian Diner With A Few Europian Dishes Offered. Salads Are Fresh And Tasty, Breakfast Normal And The Pies And Cheese Cakes Are Too Good To Have Too Often:) The Wait Staff Is A Perfect 10 On A Scale Of 1 To 5. The Waitress Has Always Been Friendly, Professional, Efficient, Not Rushed Yet Fast But With Relaxed Service. The French Creel Bistro Has That Cozy Small Town Feel; While At The Same Time Being Clean, Classy, And Modern, With Sweet Nostalgic Undertones. All And All A Great Place To Take The Family Or Grandparents Or Out Of Town Friends To Impress With Our Happy Little Town Community, But Also Somewhere You Could Go For A Business Meeting. Like many restaurants that succeeded for years and then declined due to new ownership, this is no exception. This was the go to spot in Oceanside for breakfast and on a Saturday at the time we went you would probably be waiting for a table. The place was barely a quarter full. It took over a half an hour for two simple breakfast to be brought to us and for $13 I expected more than two average pieces of French toast two pieces of bacon and scrambled eggs that were overcooked. I don’t know who taught the cook about presentation but putting one piece of mango sliced about the size of a loony on the plate Is classless and reeks of being frugal. I asked for a cup of lemon ginger herbal tea but it never came. The food pales in comparison to the former owners It wouldn’t surprise me if this place struggles to stay open word travels fast in this area. It was sold about four months ago. Also bring a heavy sweater or a jacket because it also was very cold in there. Shame that a place that at one time never ever had one negative now has become a negative. I’ll never go back...

French Creek Bistro Restaurant & Grill has quickly become one of my favourite spots in the area! The atmosphere is super welcoming—comfortable, casual, and perfect for everything from breakfast to lunch.

The food here is fantastic. I’ve tried a few different dishes and have been impressed every time. Their fish & chips are crispy, fresh, and perfectly cooked—definitely some of the best around. The Hunter Schnitzel is also amazing—tender, hearty, and packed with flavour, it’s such a satisfying meal.

I also love their breakfast options—everything is cooked just right, with generous portions that really hit the spot. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxed morning meal or a hearty dinner and leave happy either way.

The service is just as great—the staff are always friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home.
