The Packing House — Restaurant in Area I (Blue Sky Country)

My wife and I stopped here with my brother and his wife after a rainy day of asparagus picking. We just found the packing house by accident. Wow!! Highly recommended the food is all fresh large portions and locally sourced which is huge. The coffee is roasted by them and its top shelf. Not sure if our server was the owner or not but so friendly we can’t say enough about her and this nice place that’s a little off the beaten path but 100% worth it ! Great spot just hidden off the highway. If you're not from the area and don't know about it, you probably won't see it. Stopped in for a late breakfast on our drive home from 100 Mile and the food was excellent. Friendly and fast service and food. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Cute and spacious patio and several tables inside as well. Looks like they may do some live music occasionally as there was a mic in the corner.

We stopped to charge our EV and noticed the "Sorry, closed for repairs, open tomorrow" signs so went to use the portable washroom and found it closed as well.

One of the ladies ran out of the restaurant and said we could still use theirs, and then offered us ice-cold water for ourselves and our dogs.

Got to taking and wow - what friendly hosts!

We will be stopping by on our way back this weekend as the place is so adorable (and convenient with the EV chargers available) and such kindness deserves...
