This was an overpriced dinner that did not live up to any of our past "fine dining" experiences.
The starters were alright, albeit small serving sizes which we expected. The mains were entirely disappointing though, half our table had halibut and the other had steak and both were completely overcooked, under seasoned, and seemed to be poor cuts to start with. Everything that came with the halibut was disappointing, the lobster crepe was awful in texture, the mussels were over cooked and lacked flavour, and none of it seemed fresh. It seems like a very creative menu that is just lacking in the execution department.
The environment was also bad, the lighting was low, which again we are used to, but there wasn't even enough candle light on the table to see your food. We could hear rowdy music coming from the kitchen even when the doors were closed, and even more as people walked in and out.
All in all we paid over $150 for two people, and left still hungry.

The risotto said cauliflower cream which I thought would make an already rich and creamy dish even more creamy but that was not the case, there were chunks of crunchy cauliflower which was a bit strange. I’ve had and made risottos and this one was on the bland side, as if the rice was cooked in water instead of broth. The west coast corn dogs were the best thing of the night! A tiny bit fishy but very unique, crispy and good sauces. The steaks were just ok. One wasn’t cooked medium rare like asked and both were cut up which we have never experienced before and we have ordered a lot of steaks at fancy steakhouses! You’d think if you cut the steaks it would be the perfect time to double check the cook… but I guess not? Could use more salt. Potatoes au gratin were on the dry side and definitely did not taste cheesy. 3 whole asparagus as a side! Yet a little undercooked. Just ok overall. Super pricey for what we got. We will pass on “fine dining” like...
