The Gunbarrel Saloon — Restaurant in Area I (Skaha West/Kaleden/Apex)

First things first - I ate the onion soup and I got sick; considering all food i ate that day was fresh, the soup was likely the only reason for getting sick. We were a initial group of 6 and 3 more came later. We entered the restaurant and we sat to a table in the middle with enough chairs for us and the people to come later; one guy, some sort of owner or manager, moved us saying the table is reserved (though no reserved sign), he moved us by the door even if we complained as all of us were not comfortable to stay in the draft (especially the kids). Nobody came to that table where we sat first, there were few more who tried to sit there and that manager hushed them as well ( still with no reserved sign, or paper).Only one star for the server, she was very accommodating. However, the burger ordered by our friend came in less than 3 minutes, so one could wonder if they have it already made? The food on the previous day - I had veggie burger with salad, (burger was weird), anyway, I could not eat the house salad as the onion was vinegar marinated, very sharp/poignant and sour. Covid - 19 has really switched things up on the ski hills. I have noticed a significant drop in the quality of the food on majority of the ski hills in Canada. From the hosts greeting us right down to the cleanliness following all protocols we were extremely happy with the high quality of the food serves. The variety in the menu as well as the price. There is one waiter who is awful .He wants to scam you and doesn’t try to hide it .Furthermore and didn’t come to our table for 1 hour and just gave us the bill and said we have to leave the restaurant .We were polite guest so that his habit was unacceptable.He has black ,curly long hairs . Not sure if me and my friends are going to eat there again, as we only had good experiences in our 20+ times eating there before.
