A&W Canada — Restaurant in Area L (Grasslands)

My Family and i dinned in for a late dinner on the afternoon of Sunday July 14th 2019. We placed our order. The cashier asked us what we would like to drink my wife and daughter said ice tea please. The cashier replied we are all out... no prob they ordered apple juice instead, Then i asked for a frosty mug root beer. We then received our order and the drinks were all in paper drink cups so i went back and asked again i would like a root beer in a frosty mug please as the photo behind you on the wall! The cashier then responded Sorry we are closing in an hour and don't want to do anymore dishes then we have to! Wow talk about lazy staff I bet this is why the ice tea machine was out as well... I am sure there thinking was ah leave it to the next crew. I could kind of understand if it was smoking busy but nope it wasn't. Every time i have ever dinned in at an A&W restaurant i order a Large Frosty Mug Root Beer! Never been denied for such a pathetic and lazy answer Kinda ruined the long time experience for me and my family! Not...

We were on our way out of town and stopped here to grab couple burgers, poutine, and chicken strip. It was 7:30pm, we pay and off we go. Not even five minutes out of Chase, I open my poutine. Hhhmmm cheeses curds aren't melted like normal, oh well let's eat. I go to dig in and disgusting, barely lukewarm, with cold spots. Usually the poutine is piping hot. This seemed like cold fries that were sitting, deff not hot gravy like supposed to be, and parts of it cold like refrigerator cold. I'm pretty sure there's supposed to be food safe measures in play while cooking, and they don't seem to have them. Today I am feeling quite ill and my stomach is bothering me. Deff will skip past this place next time, and will not recommend. It's too bad, so...

We had an ordering mix up. Our online order was accidentally placed with a location in Kamloops instead of Chase. We tried several times to contact the Valleyview Kamloops location but there was no response and no callback despite leaving a message. Chase location to the rescue- they saved the day by taking our order on the phone and making everything fresh for us. Hopefully they can be reimbursed from the payment we made online to the Valleyview Kamloops location. They were helpful and polite in Chase even though it was no fault of their own.
