Silver Fox Pub — Restaurant in Chase

Really disappointing Waited 15min to be seated/acknowledged (told to sit anywhere) 20 min for a drink but got people that came in after myselfs order first 1hr wait on food. Literally wasted my entire night as I was just back from traveling

They did try to comp the food but I asked to pay full price and take it out as it wasn’t a complaint for free food! It was the the time and service.

Pub was only half full

I know it’s a small village we live in but if you go to railside restaurant. (Bright yellow building across from train tracks) They can be fully packed with one server and it flows fantastically very low wait time maybe 30 min.

Long and short if you want good tasting food combined with better service. Walk over to the railside restaurant. As it will defiantly make you more satisfied!!!

Read lots of reviews on this establishment, but as always like to decide for myself. Older pub, a little dark but great ambiance. Nice outside seating area, close to grocery store should you need it. Destiny, the young lady working behind the bar & on floor was on her game...the place was busy & as soon as a table emptied it was filled. I watched from the bar & heard people coming in raving about the food. The kitchen was busy & food was coming out together (for all people at table). I ordered The Kitchen Special (Thursday feature) which to my liking was a steak dinner served with fries & a great garden salad (not just tossed greens, but full of veggies). The steak was seasoned & char grilled to my liking (each their own). Definitely recommend folks stop by & check this place out if you're passing through or...

We have lived in chase 5years and only been there 3 times, each time after a management shift. Never once had a good experience. We went last night. The wings were ok, I also ordered a Canadian poutine which the server forgot to enter. Once is showed up it looked like a blackened burnt mess, the bacon was burnt so bad, and the level of salt was out of this world. She came by and said "how is it? Delicious?" I was being nice and said yes. It's the worst I've had in my life. Maybe we will try again after the next shift...
