PJ's Restaurant Dining Lounge — Restaurant in Arnprior

We are Arnprior residents that were treated very rudely at this restaurant. We arrived before 12 hoping to order breakfast but the long wait to be seated pushed us well over 1200 in which we were told we could no longer order the pancakes or other items that we specifically came for. Both attendees that spoke with us were very rude ! I felt the discrimination that Arnprior residents are feeling! My son and husband are of colour and I feel as if that was a playing factor in the way the staff handled us! The food was horrible and left a bitter taste in mouth after the way we were treated! She told us to go try Atrium truck stop if we’re not happy. Unacceptable and do not what so ever encourage any resident or visitor to attend this restaurant! A perfect example of the awful discrimination Arnprior offers to non causations in this beautiful town! Stay away!! Far far away!! Protect your children and family members from the negative environment and tasteless food and staff! All but one young nice lady was friendly and kind. She showed us to our seats and was very accommodating, unlike the two older ladies we encountered. Thank you pjs for making it known that the things they say about the horrible racists individuals in this city really do exists! Individuals as those two ladies is what we are trying to protect our son from-feeling any differently then her own children or grandchildren. Two ladies should be fired ! Well we went there last night coming home from Ottawa. We had gone there many times before as this was one of our favorite restaurant so we were looking forward to a nice supper. When we got there they informed us that their computer were down and it could take up to an hour to get our food so we decided to stay as we had a toddler with us and did not want to go to another place. So they sat us down with menus. We sat there for 29 minutes with nobody asking if we wanted a drink or anything then the hostess came up to inform us after 20 minutes that they have to turn away people as they cannot serve food as their computer were not working so we said " can we not get food without the computer working" she said" no because we cannot print out your bill". Imagine our surprise at that so what happened to serving the old fashion way like write out the bill?? We could have paid cash they did not asked we were just asked to leave as we could not be served. I guess the stove must also be computerized lol as they could not even cook?? And water is free so we could have at least be offered some while we waited but no nothing then you must go. So we left obviously very angry and hungry and went to the Riverside bar and grill very good food by the way and we will return as they assured us that if computers are not working they do it the old fashion way which is what PJ...

Brought Wife, Daughter & Son-In-Law to PJs yesterday. Had not been back for a while due to life events. Celebrated Daughter and Son-In-Laws 24th Wedding Anninversary with Dinner. We all had the Chinese Platter Meal. It was EXCELLENT. The following were 10/10: Food Presentation, Waitress Service, Food Quality, Food Quantity, Food Taste, Table and Seating Comfort, Quiet Atmosphere, Cost Of Meal. The Restaurant Staff treated us like Family. I stated to them "we are back". I highly recommend PJ Restaurant to anyone seeking affordable, enjoyable fine dining. Thank You PJ Restaurant Owners and Staff for the most enjoyable eating experience that I have every enjoyed for years. Keep up with the good food and service. * UPDATE * On a Monday evening at the start of August 2025 at 4:30 p.m. again, had the Chinese Platter Meal. This meal was outstanding. I rate it 5/5. P J Restaurant is going to see My Wife and I and our Daughter and Son-In-law a lot more God willing. It is such an enjoyable dining experience. I am truly a "Foodie". I do not drink nor smoke.
