This is the best dinner spot in Paisley. Everything is handmade and it really has that local energy. I recommend the chicken parmesan - which you can get as a sandwich if you aren't too hungry. Hands down they have the best marinara sauce I've ever had (which you can also buy in jars to take home. Oh boy do I hit that up).
The pizza is the main dish. I go there sometimes with folks who don't care for all the creative toppings they put on. Which I do agree they could have a few more of the classic available. Just a standard peppi and cheese (the buffalo pepperoni is pretty much just that), Hawaiian, Canadian, Veggy, etc, would be nice to see for the fussy eaters. I usually get a kick out of the feature pizza, but will go with something more middle of the road. As an avid second day cold pizza is best (don't hate me if you are a pizza purist) kinda guy - this is a must eat at time of order pizza. It doesn't hold up second day. Although they have frozen pizzas to take away, which I suspect probably hold up a little better if you make it first time at home.
Price-wise, it won't be a cheap meal. You get what you pay for and I'd say the food is on par with the money you spend ordering it most of the time. The owners are usually bobbing around the restaurant and are from what I hear pretty cool people. Don't know what that is worth in a review - but I like the energy they add to the place. We frequently attend their monthly trivia nights and have a blast. They also host several other events that bring a little flavour to our small town....
Read moreWas lucky enough to stop in at bonfire for a quick lunch with my wife and the quality and service has not changed, excellent service and absolutely delicious food, we started with the roasted broccoli with the garlic truffle sauce and my wife went with the duck confit Pappardelle And I have wanted to try the calzone for quite some time so that was my selection... My wife said it was the best pasta dish she's had a restaurant ever! The calzone was absolutely delicious with salty salami, stringy mozzarella and a delicious sauce and the dough for the pizza, light and airy and crispy... If you have not been to this restaurant yet it is a must as they will be closing in the future!
Thanks again!

Just returned after way too long and once again, this is definitely a 5 Star Place! Cool vibes, great service and absolutely delicious food! Well done bonfire! Also, if you didn’t know, they’re not closing, they are staying open which is absolutely incredible! I applaud Jen and Chef Chris and team!👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks...
Read moreFar and away the best food anywhere in the bruce or anywhere nearby, rivaling even the big city joints.
I'm a long time chef and I'm picky. The pizza was incredible- crust was thin but still chewy and perfectly cooked. I had the BBQ duck special- wow. My mom had the Buffalo pepperoni which I stole a slice of- perfect balance of cheese, crispy pepperoni and the honey hit just the right note of sweet.
We had the broccoli appetizer which was incredible and took canolli home for dessert.
Service was friendly And attentive without being obtrusive- the true mark of a classy joint.
It's rare for me to say everything I had was incredible but it's true. The price point for the quality of food was unreal. Don't waste your money going to cowbell. Go here. It's worth the drive. An excellent beer and cocktail list is the icing...
