Was passing through Ashcroft last weekend and needed a coffee fix, after a quick google, Ashcroft Bakery was the winner. Upon arrival I asked the woman working (Martha?) if there was dairy in their veggie rolls, she laughed and replied that I was in a bakery and that everything is made with milk or cream. Ok then...I then asked if I could have a iced chai and if she had soy and she said that not only did she have soy, she had coconut and almond as well. Interesting because I thought everything was made with milk or cream..SO I asked for a coconut milk iced chai and partner asked for the same but with a shot of espresso. Then the most appalling part of all - she started to ring us in and charged us $5 for the large chai $1 for the coconut milk $1.50 for a shot of espresso.....
$7.50 for a fake chai syrup sugary mess of a beverage.
We paid $21 for 2 drinks, a tiny veggie roll and a granola bar....that were all so below average.
Our food wasn’t finished and our drinks were dumped out - a hugely disappointing experience, for my tastebuds...

The cold coffee was great on a day when then thermometer was...
