Dan's Ice Cream Shoppe — Restaurant in Barrington Passage

I had the grilled whole wheat wrap with roast chicken and zesty sauce, with a combination of veggies perfectly suited to my tastes, and it. Was. Out. Of. This. World!!! It was so messy (grab some napkins!) but it was so so tasty!! Afterwards I had a classic soft serve twist in a cone with sprinkles. Creamy and delicious, great quality soft serve ice cream! I also just HAD to take home a loaf of their super soft molasses brown bread. That 50s carhop vibe really brought it together, though, with great tunes that had me humming along and tapping my toes while I waited. :) LOVE Dan's Ice...

We were in Barrington Passage on a Monday and Dan's was the only restaurant(other than fast food) open. And so luck for us. We eat had a sub and they were delishous. Roast chicken, was roast chicken and turkey was real turkey. Buns were toasted perfectly. We got 12 inch but 6 would have been more than enough as they did not skimp on anything. Priced better than a chain restaurant and much better...

Once the original owner left this once great shop it has taken a massive nose dive in quality. The food and the ice cream all taste of a much lower quality now and have very little care put into them. Orders are often made incorrectly and the prices are not worth the mediocrity of the product.

You would be better off getting frozen food or ice cream from the nearby no frills instead, the food quality and price will be...
