This is by far the best steak sub ever! It may not look like much but, man oh man, it’s definitely worth trying if your in the area. I make a point every time I come to town to have this blessed sandwich for lunch at least once. They get very busy during lunch time (Good for them!) so I suggest If you want a more laid back environment around 2:30 is perfect. Parking is ample so no worries there. If your placing a large order you can call ahead. Once I even called and they made me a sandwich to pick up right at opening time (10 am) because I had to hit the highway for a flight. BEST STEAK & PEPPERONI SUB EVER!! We moved back to Ottawa and I may have to visit again soon just to go back here!!!! The garlicy sauce they use is incredible. They also have amazing poutine and pre made mini pizzas in the freezer. That way you can take it home for when you don't want ro cook or leave the house! Seriously if you haven't tried their incredible food then you are missing out. Customer service is always breath taking... order ahead if you dont want to wait or stay and sit in to eat.. we always got it to go.. But great sitting area ! I moved from Bathurst three years ago so when I came back I wanted a steak sun from East Side Deli. It used to be the best but I was very disappointed to find out they have cheapened out like the rest of shrinkflation. The buns used to be big and crispy when you bite into it, now it seems like a generic foot long hotdog bun. Looks nothing like the reviews and pictures from a few years ago.
