The food was alright, your basic pizza/donair, nothing to write home about. The service was shockingly rough around the edges. Called ahead to see if they were still taking orders as it was close to 9pm and most other places close at 9, at the time I was unaware they were open til 9:30 (not from the area) and the woman who answered seemed almost annoyed that I called. Brushed it off, placed the order and drove out to pick it up, got inside and there were 3 staff members chatting it up, all 3 looked at me and continued chatting without even acknowledging I was there, I waited for them to be done talking so as not to interrupt, at which point one of the women asked in a bit of an irritated tone if I had an order placed, I told her I did and what it was, she took it down off the oven and rang it up, I thanked them and wished them a good night to which I was met with a "yep". You wouldn't know but I was a complete inconvenience to them. I don't know what about the whole interaction put them out of their way, but I'll be sure not to bother them a...
Read moreI've been going to this place off and on for 30 years and it really hasn't changed at all. Floors are always dirty, the counter is dirty. The way they make the pizza is not safe and tonight was the straw that broke the camels back. I watched them making 3 pizzas on the table at the same time, they where reaching across each pizza grabbing toppings and I really didn't put much thought in it till I bought a couple of slices. When I got home my Girlfriend ( who is pregnant )and I started eating them. She like to pick off her toppings and she found Pineapple on the pepperoni slice we bought. She is very allergic to Pineapple and this could cause major issues to her and our unborn child. The way they make more then one pizza at a time and reaching over the pizza to get toppings is unsafe and unprofessional. This place was never a good place to eat and I will never...
Read moreWhat this place lacks in venue for eating in, it makes up for in its pizza and service. We were hungry tourists unfamiliar with local offerings, so we took a chance at this pizzeria and boy, we were not disappointed. The only thing that would have made our pizza better would have been actual sliced bacon. As we waited for our pizza, other patrons kept coming and going non-stop, which is certainly a good sign of a restaurant doing well. Go for the food, ignore the venue…you won’t be disappointed. The person (owner possibly) who took our order guessed we were tourists and brought us a small salad to share as we waited for our pizza. Very nice touch…can’t remember the last time that...
