Ben & Florentine — Restaurant in Beloeil

Service is ok, food is bad. I had "pain doré croustillant au pomme" and it was ice cold in the middle (blasted in microwave) I asked for another plate with no apple garnish this time. Hit another plate with mines 1 pain for with an extra HAIR on it. I went back again weeks later and had a similar experience. The potato where extremely old, tasted like old moisture and they where chewy. Don't go there they just care about your money. Their staff isn't properly train in the kitchen.

Edit : went back a couple time over the years and my comments still hold. Kitchen staff is untrained , can't even make the Benedict sauce correctly, undercooked crepe , old bacon...

My wife and I had breakfast at Ben & Florentine's in Beloeil near Highway 20. We both ordered the Traditional Breakfast and the food was of average quality. They included a slice of processed cheese and apple sauce for some reason, neither of which I touched. The breakfast potatoes had been reheated and were not as good as the Etoile restaurant in Mont-St-Hilaire. Service was very good, but I think the lack of customers there at the time had something to do with it. It was just an average breakfast, not one that would motivate...

Suis allé déjeuner au B&F de Beloeil ce matin (celui à côté du Rona). La serveuse était amicale au début. J'ai commandé une assiette oeufs et bacon. Le bacon était brûlé, sans exagérer, tellement qu'il s'emiettait pratiquement juste à y toucher. J'en ai seulement mangé une tranche sur 3 (de travers). Comment peut-on servir du bacon aussi dégueulasse. La serveuse n'est jamais venue me voir si mon déjeuner était bon. Un moment donné j'ai juste poliment fait signe à la serveuse que je voulais avoir ma facture car je devais quitter pour faire du bénévolat et je ne voulais pas être en retard. Elle a acquiescé. Elle est revenue un peu plus tard pour servir le plat à la table à côté de moi. Elle m'a dit qu'elle reviendrait car elle a 4 tables a servir avant. Je lui ai juste poliment dit que c'était correct. Quand elle est finalement venue me porter la facture elle m'a dit: vous êtes stressé ce matin monsieur. J'ai été poli tout le long et elle me garoché un...
