Cozy Diner — Restaurant in Black River-Matheson Township

Stopped in for a coffee, and a restroom break. Restroom was dirty with feces o. Toilet and wall, when I told wait staff she just rolled her eyes and said ok. When I paid for coffee, which tasted stale, I noticed she didn't ring it in and left the money on counter. I was going to order food to go but glad I didn't after seeing the cook come out of kitchen and how dirty they looked, I d hate to see the state of the kitchen if that is who is working back there. After given my coffee I over heard the cook and waitress talking about previous staff, I don't know what they did but it was quite apparent they didn't like them and laughed about getting rid of them. Home cooked meals are hard to come by if you have never been to the Cozy Diner. I enjoyed breakfast there on a Sunday morning and I had to push myself away from the table. I was starving hungry and asked for the big breakfast meal. It took everything I had to finish the delicious offering. I love the food here, the cook is well versed on how to fry onions. So...the food tastes pretty good, however, they completely bungled our order. We received somebody else's banana pepper burger with our order (sorry for your loss). They also put the dressing on my wife's salad which we asked for on the side so it's wrecked cuz she can't finish the whole thing tonight, and they put chicken on it which wasn't requested but I am very certain I paid for.
