I've been going to Gino's locations for many years now. I went tonight to order a pepperoni pizza. I had originally wanted to purchase a hot and ready pizza as I get up for work at 5am and it was already 9pm at this point. So to start I asked the gentleman if they had the hot and ready option. He proceeded to say that they did, so I asked what types they had available. He started listing out sizes of pizzas which prompted me to ask again if they had the hot and ready option, to which he then proceeded to say "oh, no we dont". That I can dismiss as him not hearing me properly or something along those lines. However I then proceeded to ask for a large pepperoni pizza, to which he replied "a large pepperoni panzerotti". I corrected him and said "no a large pepperoni pizza", he simply replied with an ok and punched in my order. So I waited the ten minutes he said it would take to make it and when some other gentleman hands me my supposed order low and behold it's a panzerotti. I essentially told him that it's not what I ordered to which he proceeded to call the gentleman that had placed my order to the front. After arriving he attempted to convince me that I had ordered a panzerotti which I never would have since I hate them. After telling him several times that it's not what I ordered his response was "well I gave you the receipt". It's true that it is the customers duty to verify their purchase however there is an assumption that when you are ordering something the person taking your order is actually paying attention to what you are saying. In the end he offered to make me the pizza but it was already late by then and the affair had made me loose my appetite. Frankly speaking I doubt I will be going back to this location again after this experience and if anyone decides to frequent it make sure to check your receipt to see if the order was actually...
Read moreDid this location get taken over by new management?! my experiences here went from being top notch to really terrible. few days ago, I called @10:45 to order but was told they are closed… mind you this is a franchise, they’re suppose to continue taking orders until the closing time which is 11pm. Today I placed an order @ 10:37 and was told it’ll take 20 mins, from 10:51 - 11:00 I received 3 phone calls stating my order was ready for pick up and they are closing. Literally 2-3 mins apart. Picked up the order, only to get home and realize the pizza was raw and rushed. i don’t understand, this place used to be so amazing. But lately, it’s been terrible, especially to the lady to keeps answering the phone and refusing to take orders at 10:45, this is a franchise - your suppose to be open and taking orders until the closing time which as I said is 11pm. I will be calling management tomorrow and head office, to let them know of my on going...
Read moreWORST GINOS PIZZA store ever visited, staff didn’t know how to take order. They were in a rush to close the store took my order and despite giving clear instructions to put hot banana peppers they replaced it with green peppers. After a lot of discussions they refuse to make a new pizza for me as they said the store is closed and their oven is switched off And they just hand removed the green pepper and added hot banana pepper on top of it. No apology or intentions to fix the mistake. Even if you are in a hurry to close the store and it is a last order that doesn’t mean you wont care about the customer’s order and instructions. This happened on Sept 14 at 11pm.
I won’t recommend visiting to the store again. They have done it a couple of more...
