Overall it’s a great little stop for classic Tim’s favs. The area around it has urbanized over the years so it naturally has associated issues like loitering and at night. That being said, being from surrounding area for better part of thirty years it’s a main stay and really like having it on corner. It has added high top new table seating inside, doubled its drive through lanes, and now has a patio out front, the new added flowers are great (add more)! Umbrellas out front could really help. The surrounding plaza needs revitalization so its impact affects atmosphere at this Tims location. Day time and weekends has a different vibe much better than night. Some ideas - inside could be re vamped to match more modern Tims. Also, layout and size of tables could change - for example perhaps consider adding a coffee only counter area in corner where tables are a waste of space promote loitering - replace with walls of stools and have that pick up area for people who want coffee only. On opposite side, remove tables by washroom and add stanchions to create a more effective line up structure could loop in there when it gets busy, and have one side of line for exit only - you’ll then have more efficient use of both exits. Some flowers inside or better ambient lighting. Staff are friendly - Rafiq and Lorraine have asked for reviews positive encounters. All staff seem nice - there is a lot of chatting amongst some staff and sometimes a non acknowledgement of people in line also a slowness with orders. But they are nice about it and fix things quickly if you ask. It’s more that customers feel awkward not knowing where to stand or what’s happening. More communication or clear places marked to wait will eliminate confusion. Both registers should be open always. Maybe also consider hiring private security at night. The side with the benches promotes loitering - if was to remove those replace with several small two seaters or high top stools along a fenced in area with more flowers could look nice and create more seating. Food has gotten better it’s fresh coffee too. They don’t have all menu items at this location like no pizza. Also after a certain time drive through stops offering wedges in the past. There’s also a great selection of Tim’s shop items to buy, super cute especially during holidays. Overall some minor ambient improvements could help but coffee is fresh - I’d check make sure milk or cream dispensers are clean sometimes there’s an after taste in coffee different than other days. Read moreI went today with a friend, there was an older caucasian lady at front counter. She said she would be able to take one last order before she left so me and my friend went to tell her our order. While I ordered the food for the both of us, a bacon breakfast sandwich meal and a sausage farmers wrap meal she asked me to clarify what I ordered which I did. Then she began trying to ask me if im sure I want both orders to be the same as I said TO HER. I said yes, then she began trying to explain to me the difference between two menu items and how she thinks I wanted it. I said to her “I just want what exactly I said to you, X and Y, you’re confusing me with all these things youre saying that arent even on the menu as that name”. At this point im visibly frustrated because I am not asking for anything extravagant for the meal. My friend tells me to calm down, even though I previously told her more than 3 times WHAT and HOW I wanted it. She then begins arguing with me saying im rushing her and “Honey if you want a rush I can give you rush” then proceeds to haggle with the atm machine and throw it on the counter for us. Walking away while we are trying to pay, venting out loud that she “isnt trying to hurt me and you dont need act like im trying to hurt you”. Saying that im not being quiet trying to escalate things. When she started this scene I was not able to get the order the way I wanted it. One Bacon Breakfast Sandwich meal with a French Vanilla, and a Sausage Farmers Wrap with a French Vanilla. Meanwhile, as she was acting up I thought let me be quiet maybe my friend is right and I am the problem. After paying, she then gives us the order, low and behold she gives us 2 Farmers Wraps, one bacon and one sausage. We had a coupon offer we tried to redeem and it was never used because of this woman behaving like my mother, I DO NOT KNOW HER. She then said “here is your food you can take it and leave here now!” this entire one sided argument was vocal for all the customers and staff to hear because someone younger than her is telling her what they want opposed to what she thinks they want to order. If I could give a 0 stars I would this was my first time going to this location and my last time. Read moreI came into Tim hortons today about 2 pm qnd waited 10 min to have my order taken . The women who took my order was very nice lady and was trying hard to keep everything going at a fast pace. She seems stressed because the other workers were not trying to be quick at all. I felt bad for her to be honest she was rushing around trying to help every one . Qll the others were going at the slowest pace possible. Any way I ordered a everything bagel with a soup the lady that was putting together the sandwiched was going very slow. She had about 5 bagels sitting in the toaster and wasn't trying be make the sandwiches in a fast pace manner . The nice older kaucasion lady that had taken my order had to go ask the women making the sandwiches to hurry up with my order . I get home only to find that my bagel was barely toasted and were both 2 top halfs of the bagel . I called the reasutursnt requesting to speak to a manager . When i was told she was not in that I could speak with supervisor I said ok the so called supervisor came on the phone very unprofessionally did not present her name just said hello. Not even how can I help you . I told her my issue and she had said for me to come back they would remake it I told her I couldn't bother it is to hot outside to be going back qnd forth could I please get a credit for the next time I come in . She said she would have to speak to her manager and if I could call back in 5 minutes qnd she would let me know. So I did just that only to have nkt one person answer my 10 phone calls that were back to back.so I had to get in my car and go into the restaurant again . When I asked for the supervisor I was told she had left . I asked why no one was answering there phones and she really didn't have an answer for me . Needless to say I am disspointed and really upset that thus is how they are conducting this tim hortons. I will not be going back to this location again.
