First off we received our pizza after 55 minutes, after taking the boxes.. I handed them to my friend while I paid.. he said wait the pizza is cold, so at the time I already paid for the pizza with tip. My friend came back to the door with the boxes telling me it was cold. The driver was like oh i was ringing the bell and waited 5 minutes.. first of all he did not wait 5 minutes outside because we saw him after and he called the phone right after that he was outside.. 2nd the pizza is in the warm pizza cover/ box and the pizza gets that cold very quickly?? That BS.. on top of that we called talking to the manager she didn’t know how to respond kept us on hold for 5 minutes thinking about what excuse to make up. She said her name was ameeta or amita, we have ordered for dominos, pizza pizza, pizza depot, moga pizza.. today we wanted to try popular pizza to give them a try but it was a disappointment and whats the worst is that they tried blaming us that we made the driver wait and it took them 55 minutes so it was going to get cold which isn’t complete bs. $40 worth of pizza gone to waste. And they did not even once say we would compensate you or sorry for the bad service we can give you credit which We don’t even need but the thought saying yes we were wrong would have been enough. Id give them 0...

DO NOT GO FOR POPULAR PIZZA I ordered a pizza day before yesterday for home delivery and they said it will take 40 to 45 minutes. I waited for an hour and called again. The head office checked and said it will be there in 2 minutes. I quickly went outside since I was in the basement and it was raining that night. I waited for 10 to 15 minutes outside in the rain so that the driver can see me because I was sure that the store did not tell the driver that it is a basement (as per my past experience). No one came to deliver the pizza and I did not even get any call from the driver. I kept on calling for another half an hour and no one picked up my call. I had to sleep on an empty stomach that night as I did not have anything to eat I called the head office next day to launch a complaint and she said the driver tried to call me but I did not answer. The excuse she gave me was unacceptable for me. I asked her to connect me with the driver and she said he is not working today I can take your order now. These are making us fool. Please don't order from here especially when you are in emergency or you have a party at home. These people can make you feel embarrassed in front of your guests....

Customer service means nothing😩

Called Popular Pizza at 12:10 today to inform them that our family of 6 had a $45 order on Saturday and unfortunately the whole wheat and gluten free crust tasted terrible! He proceeds to tell me that everyone's tastes are different and no one has ever complained before. I said that I understand that but I spent $45 on pizza and I've been a customer for a few years and tried something new, we had never tried the gluten free and whole wheat from them before and maybe there was something wrong with the batch! I told him I would like to have a credit or money back. He then began to tell me that all I wanted was free food and money that he doesn't LIKE or NEED customers like me! I'm so upset and disappointed by his response! Yes I wanted even some money back or a small credit in good faith, and I would then never order the whole wheat or gluten free every again. It's called customer service! All my family was grossed out by the pizza and two of us were sick!
