A Flavorful Journey I recently had the pleasure of dining at Simply Indian Restaurant and Sweet Shop, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that left me craving for more. This hidden gem in the heart of Brampton captivated my senses with its authentic flavors, warm ambiance, and delightful sweets. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I knew I was in for a treat. Let's start with the ambiance. Simply Indian exudes a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, perfectly blending modern aesthetics with traditional Indian elements. The vibrant colors, tasteful decor, and soft lighting create an inviting space that instantly transports you to the streets of India. The attentive staff members further enhance the dining experience, as they are knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing their culinary heritage. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food. Simply Indian serves an extensive menu that showcases the rich diversity of Indian cuisine. Whether you're a vegetarian, a meat lover, or have specific dietary requirements, this place has something for everyone. Each dish is prepared with utmost care and precision, using high-quality ingredients and authentic spices that truly elevate the flavors. I started my culinary adventure with their delectable samosas, crispy and perfectly seasoned, accompanied by an array of chutneys that added an explosion of flavors to every bite. Next, I indulged in the mouthwatering butter chicken, which was nothing short of a revelation. The tender chicken pieces swimming in a rich, creamy tomato-based sauce left me speechless. Paired with fragrant basmati rice and freshly baked naan bread, it was an absolute delight. But the excitement didn't end there. After the main course, I ventured into the sweet shop section, and my taste buds were in for a treat. The shelves were lined with a colorful assortment of traditional Indian sweets, such as gulab jamun, jalebi, and rasgulla. Each bite was a burst of sweetness, made with the perfect balance of flavors and textures. It was like taking a sweet journey through the vibrant streets of India. To complement the meal, Simply Indian offers a wide selection of beverages, including traditional Indian lassis, refreshing mango drinks, and aromatic masala chai. These drinks perfectly complemented the flavors of the food, enhancing the overall dining experience. In conclusion, Simply Indian Restaurant and Sweet Shop is an absolute culinary gem that has won my heart. From the warm ambiance to the incredible food and delightful sweets, every aspect of this establishment is crafted with passion and dedication. Whether you're a lover of Indian cuisine or a curious food adventurer, Simply Indian is a must-visit destination. Prepare to be dazzled by the authentic flavors and warm hospitality that will transport you to the vibrant streets of India.

I wanted to try a new Indian restaurant just for the sake of something new. The place was ok but I have a few issues. It seems a bit disorganized. I ordered 2 thalis for take out. She said it would be 15 mins; I’m like isn’t the food already prepared? And she mentioned “they have to make the naan” sorry I didn’t realize it took 15 mins to make naan. Either way; that was fine, the price was on par for thalis at most other restaurants so I have no issues with the price. I ordered a variety of dishes for the 2 thalis. The food was not hot; especially the rice (it was cold and undercooked); I found the food very mild. The channa was undercooked and hard, and not much gravy, most just channa. The naan was good, the daal and shahi paneer were good but again, just lukewarm. The biggest let down was that I ordered gulab Jaman for both of the thalis (which my son was very excited about.) since they don’t make the thali infront of you, I didn’t realize they made an error. When we got home, both of our thalis had gajrela, which both of us don’t like; quite à disappointment because bath of us enjoy our Gulab jamans; we ended up throwing out our gajrela because neither of us like it. I did not find the customer service to be the greatest; when I went to get my thalis vegetables chosen the girl was like “where’s your receipt” which I wasn’t aware that I needed to keep or show since the cashier did not tell me. Tried something new and we won’t be back, we will stick with Prem sweets. **edit** 2 hours after eating this food, my son and I BOTH have terrible stomach aches. I suspect this restaurant is NOT following safe serve temperature regulations.

She said ok .. i said please clean rest from first . But we sit , we waited almost ten minutes nobody come to clean the table .. waitress came with our ordered .. i said please clean first she said sure .. ok again 5 minutes gone .. i stand up in between my dinner .. and politely request the girl please clean it .. she said give me two minutes . One girl came after that she picked half of utensils..last customer naan baskets and glasses still there . We didn’t get our jar of water , no glasses and no napkins. This place is getting worst day by day … I’ve been ordering food from day one of the restaurant sometimes I go with my family , some time with friend / colleagues and most of all uber …. I’m their oldest & loyal customer but what they r giving me in return is just ridiculous !!! Bad service, one veg thali is taking forever to make ,, today my son wished to have their thali I’ve ordered & the estimated delivery time was keep increasing .. I msg the driver he said they r making ur order I called resturant to hurry up no one answered,, after my so many calls some very rude lady answered my call I was trying to explain that my son is starving and she started to arguing with me & threw everything on the uber driver when finally he arrived I said what was taking u so long he said ur order wasn’t ready they were saying 5 mins 10 mins 15 mins. The blame game was started while my son was starving for food 😭😭he started crying & I made something else for him … I was trying to tell the lady on the fone that I orders a lot from u guys but she wasn’t listening she was arguing and not letting me talk that’s how they treat their oldest and loyal customers ,, not going or ordering any food from them ever again !!! Also will tell my entire family , my friend circle and colleagues not to order from them anymore ,,, I’m not able to reply at resturant comment under this post so I’m adding that I’ve been to the resturant many times and u guys takes forever to bring the food it’s not 10 mins whenever i visit the resturant it takes more than 20 mins to get the veg thali !!! It wasn’t uber driver’s fault yesterday Zero...
