Broaster's Crispy Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Brantford

Last week was the first time I’ve ever went to Broasters, a couple people told me to try it out, so figured I would. The food was extremely spicy, even for jerk chicken. I have tried almost every place in brantford now, rice and peas was dry, coleslaw tasted like it was pure vinegar. The lady who served me was cold and not very friendly, didn’t even smile back at me, it looked like she was pissed right off both times when I went to order and then came back to get my food. Not sure which was worse the food, or the customer service. Definitely won’t be coming back here nor would I recommend to anyone.

Edit and then the owner replied back with “Thanks for your one time support Sorry food wasn't to your liking and you didn't get a smile she was smiling on the inside..” .. doesn’t try to correct any concerns or issues and actually stands up for his rude employees. No wonder the customer service is bad, the owner...

Normally I've had good experiences here with the roti and chicken dinners but unfortunately this last time I purchased the chicken roti I was not happy at all with the quality. It seems like they are starting to use either left over or lower quality chicken. I'm used to white chicken breast looking chicken in my roti which they used to have but this last time the chicken was dark, overcooked, or cooked more then once, and I even thought it was beef for a moment. Did not taste right and I even found a sharp bone inside it was also fatty! I will not only not be ordering roti from these jokers anymore I won't be ordering anything. One good way to lose customers; lower your chicken standards. Just because it's inside the roti doesn't mean I won't notice. I have a picture I will be posting in discust. Almost didn't finish it once I saw how dark the chicken was. If that's even what type of...

Great food. Friendly staff but the level of professionalism of the business is very poor. They basically open and close, and answer their phone or not on their own decision. It said they open for lunch at 2pm(who eats lunch at 2pm?). I called multiple times at 2:15pm, nobody answers the phone. I arrived there at 2:30pm. Someone is there preparing to open the restaurant. I asked as to why nobody answers the phone. Her simple response was it becomes too hectic and confusing with the orders. She said she did that before and it made the customer angry. lol.... She just made that stuff on the spot.

Again, great food. Chicken is great but the staff/owner's level of professionalism is what will steer me away from this business. I would rather drive further down the street/road for KFC or Popeye's than buy chicken...
