If I could give this place a zero star, I would in a heartbeat!! I attended this location a few times in December 2019 during the Big Mac promotion. Most of the staff here are good people and the one cashier during the weekdays is a sweetheart. However, the experience I had with Kris, a young lady working behind the counter getting orders together was horrible throughout the week leading up to December 16th. I had encountered this person a number of times during this week with the promotion. She was definitely not the friendliest, seemed annoyed much of the time and didn't smile....just a reflection of her attitude. On December 16th, I placed 2 orders each for 3 Big Macs at 10:56 and 10:57 a.m. at the kiosk as it had just changed over to the lunch menu. I was aware that they were still going to have to change over from Breakfast to Lunch and there would be a wait and I had no issues with that. On this date though, Kris calls out my order #s 959 and 962 at 10:59 a.m. I came up to the counter and acknowledged her pleasantly. She began a tyrant about how it was still breakfast and lunch was not being served yet and it would be some time before I got the orders. I said that I was aware and that the kiosk did allow me to order early...pleasantly again and that I was wiling to wait. This Kris starts berating me in front of multiple customers about the fact I should not have been able to order and it wasn't 11 yet!! She was very vocal, agitated and completely rude to me!! It was humiliating and embarrassing that she was even yelling at me in such a disgraceful manner!! I walked away quite upset and I noticed other customers standing there red faced and appalled at what just happened. One elderly customer said to me as I walked away from Kris "OH MY GOD!! WHAT WAS THAT ALL ABOUT!?" The cashier behind the counter on the left was obviously upset as well as she was quite red faced!! I said to this cashier that was quite rude and appalling. She replied that I needed to complain to the shift manager if that was the case. I made the choice not to talk to the shift manager as she was in the background barking out "it is still breakfast!" as Kris went on this tyrant with me. I was also in uniform which stopped me and the place was starting to get packed with lunch goers. It was quite obvious to others that they were stunned and shocked by this Kris's verbal diarrhea that spewed out of her. I know that if I was not in uniform and I had more time, I would have had words with Kris and surely the shift manager. NOBODY deserves to be talked to like I was!!! As a supervisor in my jobs in the past, I certainly would not have tolerated this very unprofessional behaviour to others!!! There was absolutely no respect shown whatsoever!!! I know that some will say it is only McDonald's but it doesn't matter what business it is.....no one should be berated and humiliated for placing an order!!! If I was her supervisor, there would have been a profusely apology to the customer and then she would have been fired on the spot!!!!! Just a side note....I am writing this a few weeks later as I have not had a chance to comment or allowed submit on the McDonalds survey website. It still bothers me that this individual is even allowed to work in such a customer friendly base...

During my recent visit to this McDonald’s location, I experienced a few challenges that I believe could be addressed to improve the customer experience.
While placing my order at the kiosk, I noticed one staff member engaging in loud, non-work-related conversations with a coworker. She was wearing a black coat, had her hair in a bun with a pen or stick in it, and a headset on. While I understand that casual conversation is natural in a workplace, this particular instance felt disruptive and unprofessional. Her loud discussions, including personal stories such as her laundry habits and comments like, “She is complaining? I have a mortgage,” were audible to customers. This created an atmosphere that felt more like a chaotic social gathering than a professional environment. I was going to stay to dine-in but the noise was truly disruptive.
Additionally, the staff’s pace appeared quite slow, which only added to the frustration. As a customer, I came in expecting prompt service and a focused atmosphere. Instead, I found myself amidst loud chatter and distractions. While I appreciate a lively workplace, the noise level and personal discussions being shared so openly seemed excessive and unprofessional.
I hope this feedback can help improve the balance between maintaining a pleasant work environment for staff and providing a more seamless, professional experience...

One year later... drove through this morning for a lack-lustre sausage and egg muffin, and a greasy, grossly undercooked hash brown. The seagulls seemed happy enough with it. Service was okay.

Had to bail from neverending drive-thru back-up... waited 20 minutes for an ice cream cone, and I was still 4 cars from the first window, with nothing moving.

Update: It just gets worse. The kid at the counter tells the supervisor he can't serve my ice cream because it will melt before I get my food. Supervisor yells "I don't care, just get it out there!" The gentleman in front of me is still having an argument about his milkshake, and then I get back on the road to find that my food order is all wrong. I don't know how to rate this place. It runs hot and cold, including the food and the service. The kids working here seem to be putting in the effort, but there's a nasty supervisor who really needs an attitude adjustment. I loose my appetite when I have to watch the old buzzard berate these kids until she makes them cry.
