Went for lunch with our granddaughter, so she had the chicken nuggets. $8 for 8 Loblaws processed nuggets. Not even real chicken. Wife had the toutons. Selected maple syrup over molasses. It was the Aunt Jemima syrup. Not maple syrup. I had a cheese grilled because it's hard to get wrong. It was a slice of Kraft marble cheddar between two slabs of bakers fog. I'd have done better at a gas station. We also had a date square and granddaughter had a chocolate chip cookie. Both were high in sugar but low in taste. Awful baked goods. The Convent in Brigus has amazing cocktails and what a story! The bartender is a certified Q grader and espresso machine technician. They are not messing around.

This explains why the espressos and lattés I've had here have been exceptional.
