I have a lot of love for this little gem. Your typical family run mom and pop shop. The locals seem to flock to on Sunday morning--we came here stopping in from heading home from Brechin and it was a wonderful delight. Two of the girls had the regular breakfast and it was a large delicious portion--2eggs, 4 piece toasts, 4 breakfast sausages and a smile :). Another friend and I had the fish and chips, herself the cod and for me the halibut and poutine. It was absolutely delicious--a delicious crispy batter and yummy gravy for the poutine. It was a large portion. Took half of it home as takeaway and airfried the next day for that crispy yum!

The lady sat us, took our orders and served us. The man was in the kitchen, making our food--it is incredible how the two were so friendly while so efficient serving their customers. We also noticed they knew some of their customers by name and vice versa. Needless to say, i recommend a stop here if you are...

On a country road trip with brother Jones, an impromptu race for dinner begins & a shining beacon in the light, evening summer rain appears: Beaverton chippy!

Wonderful owners, Danny & Shan Shan were closing up as we approached, but they fired up the fryers again, with fresh oil, & served us large, crispy portions of perfectly battered & fried halibut & chunky chips.

Being English, having lived in Toronto for 20 years, this is hands-down the best, authentic English-style fish & chips that I’ve eaten in Ontario, well worth the visit, excellent & friendly...

Ordered some chicken fingers and fries. The chicken i received was tough, rubbery and not edible. When I called to notify they. They asked me to bring the chicken back....so I did. They tried telling me there is nothing wrong and only refunded me for half my order. I happen to know a few things about the restaurant business and know there supplier very well. I called them and they insured me there's been nothing wrong with the batches of chicken fingers that location had received and that it's a result of dirty oil and wrong temp/cook time. The customer service was horrible and food non edible...I highly recommend you save the hassle and go to jack simcoe on the corner. Way better food and...
