Crusty Pizza — Restaurant in Brock

My family and I drove 40 minutes to try this place out. What a bummer to say the least. We called in our order and it was read back to us correctly. Upon arrival the lady working the till said "sorry we forgot to do a BBQ sauce base as you requested...hopefully our tomato sauce is still fine."

I then asked due the the error on their end if they could do anything about the price of just the one panzerotti they got wrong. She looked at me and smirked, and just said "sorry it was busy!" I then said "so there is nothing that can be done?" She replied, "would you like some BBQ sauce dip on the side?" I did not. Rather I would have preferred they were competent enough to complete the order right as they are a pizza business. But I guess not all simple requests can be answered. She lastly tried to offer some kind of credit for a future order but we immediately knew we would never return. We did not take this.

So, to not keep my family waiting...we paid for the order. My last hope was that upon arriving home it would at least taste okay. Sadly, that like a simple sauce request was too much to hope for. The panzerotti's included in our order were all not very good, sauce was extremely watery and the dough was partially uncooked in the middle. Our final hope lied with the wings we ordered. But I guess if a pizza place can't make pizza very well, don't think they are going to nail the wings. They didn't. Their menu says wing flavours (assuming they would be tossed)...we received a very small portion of sauce on the side of our dry, plain wings.

All and all I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and this review will be the last time I give this place a single thought.

Despite my not so great review, I send well wishes to the staff and hope they can improve for the next...

One star… if you can even give it that! Negative one star for their pathetic of an excuse customer service and quality of food. The place is run by incompetent individuals who have no care whatsoever about people and their order. We waited over 2 hours and 15 minutes for our delivery order and was never sent. Got hung up on by a female incompetent and rude phone operator / “employee” Called a second time and spoke with a male “employee”who was of no use, and was aloof to what customer service means. It’s laughable and sad to say that after calling and trying to find where our delivery order was - all he said was that it may have just left or that they got the address confused with another area. He only offered to give us a free sauce. More time passed and we couldn’t believe that we were now waiting over TWO HOURS for our delivery. Called again. The female employee answers only to hangup on me. I called with another phone / different name etc to appear on the caller ID and she again played “innocent” and didn’t bother to take any time to provide us with any solutions or discounted items etc. Would you like to waste your time? Money? And patience? Oh! And your appetite? Because the food, service and “employees” are in much need of a refresher on how to serve their customers. The food isn’t worth it. The headaches are not worth it. So to sum it up. There are minimal options and mediocre quality. And rude, untrained and careless people running their business. It’s a shame. Sad that as one of the only pizza establishments in the area offering delivery they’re so lousy and...

A couple days late posting but wanted to send a huge shout out to these 2 guys Cole and Steve (driver). I ordered pizza and wings on Saturday for supper. I had accidently called the Beaverton store instead of Sunderland. I was house sitting and unfamiliar with the area. When I realized my mistake I called the store back and was told the driver was already out and assured it was no problem cancelling the order and they even took responsibility for not realizing where the address was even though I called the wrong store. I called the Sunderland store and replaced my order. A few minutes later Cole called me back and said the driver Steve was willing to make the journey to deliver us our dinner. Cole even called the Sunderland store to fix my mistake so I wouldn't have to call them and cancel another order. The food was still warm when he arrived after his long journey and he was super friendly and understanding about the whole ordeal. He said he was just happy to be able to get us our dinner. The food was great as always. These 2 gentlemen were top notch and knocked it out of the park with their customer service. I would not hesitate to order from them again. Thanks again...
