We ordered pizza and wings here two to four times per month since it opened. Last night was not a nice experience. We purchased a coupon book last year which had advertising on the back of it stating the price of pizza wing combos. The coupon book expires today. Since the printing of this coupon book the price is going up $3. After having the owner argue with me the prices are subject to change I went home and checked my coupon book. Nowhere on it did it say prices are subject to change. After a long argument and frustration and listening to the store owner swear, I said that I would not be back and that I would go to Two Brothers Pizza across the street from now on. I have never had an ie with two brothers in the past. Crusty's has a tasty Pizza but Crusty has a bad attitude. In the end he did refund my $3 however he told me that I've been paying $3 more for months for the same combo. I'm not impressed I feel ripped off and I will not be back to Crusty Pizza in Sunderland. Two days ago I would have rated it 4.5 Stars. After last night I give it a two. And the two stars are all taste. Management needs redirection

Still a good pizza but the latest scam is posting a price for twoonie Tuesday then upping the price and not offering the pop for 50 cents. AS ADVERTISED RIGHT THERE ON THE COUNTER. Read moreFirst time having a bad experience. I was gracious throughout but the situation should have been handled differently. My order for delivery was 1 hour late. I called twice to get an update at the 30mins and 1hr mark after the ETA. I was offered debit or cash when I ordered. I said I will pay with a $50 bill if the driver can have change. The lady who took my order said OK. When my pizza arrived an hour late, the driver was not supplied with any change and so I just gave him the $50 bill and said no worries I will call and see if they can put a credit on my account. When I called, the girl told me the driver would come back and bring me my change. When the driver arrived, I was met with slight annoyance - saying he “didn’t know I was going to call the store multiple times” and that I “called to talk to his boss”. I called once to ask for a credit, not to send a driver back in the snow for $12 change - that was the managements decision. I never spoke to a manager - I spoke to the girl who answered the phone who said she would ask her manager for what to do about the credit. Read morelol. So today I ordered two vegetarian pizzas. Some high school kids were working and when I got home there was a pepperoni on my pizza. I called and let them know about this pizza (didn’t even request a free pizza or refund, just wanted them to make my pizza properly as my sister and her partner do not eat pork..). I sent my partner in to switch out the pizzas. The kid looked at the pizza and said “give me $18.60” because there was only “one piece of pepperoni”. Also muttered “you Indians are so cheap” under his breath. I’m sorry, what? First of all, we are not even Indian… I’m disgusted this type of racist behaviour still happens so overtly in Canada. I’ve lived in Sunderland for over 4 years and I’m ashamed to have supported a business that cannot hire staff who can respect or understand different cultures and their dietary restrictions. My partner asked to speak to the manager or owner due to the disrespect and was told “they are in Arizona, you wanna call Arizona?” Absolutely Disgusting.
