First time visiting this hotdog stand. Heard lots of reviews from friends about how good the hotdogs are and I was also looking forward to the icecream since its real, which is hard to find these days. I would have to say the dessert was the best part. I have yet to taste icecream as flavorful as this, and in my opinion I'd make this the selling point of their restaurant.

Hotdog was okay, I honestly expected it to be a lot thicker than it was. Pricing was decent, but if you want a really good basic hotdog Costco's ones for $1.50 that comes with a drink has this beat. There is lots of variety which is nice and there are so many different toppings to choose from. The grassy area out back is a really nice place to sit and there is plenty of parking as well.

The place needs some serious renovation though, I'm sure when it opened and throughout the 50s it was "the place" to be. Now it just looks old, run down and I can't believe there is only one bathroom, which is for a single person, men's was alright in terms of how clean it was. The main area needs a good cleaning though there was fries on the floor and the place wasn't busy in the early afternoon, so minus one star.

I'm sure with a good reno they could bring back the vibe and how it used to be getting rid of all the low star reviews, there was a decent flow of customers on a Tuesday afternoon and it probably gets a lot busier in the evening. Hopefully, at minimum, they take the dilapidated look...

Where had this place been all of my life!!! I googled “Best Hot Dog Near Me” and Easterbrook’s was on the list.

In all the times we had visited this area we had never came across this gem of a place. We showed up around 4pm on this beautiful Spring Sunday and it was already super busy! In the time we waited for our food, they served another 20 plus customers.

As they say, they are known for their foot long hotdogs - and by gosh - almost everyone in line ordered one!

If, like me, it takes you a while to decide; I strongly suggest looking up the menu first!! They dress their Hot Dogs in SO MANY different ways. It’s difficult to try only one.

We both ended up taking the regular hot dog with mustard, relish, and onion, and they were delicious. The bread was toasted which is nice. We also had a large fries with gravy. The fries were tasty and the gravy was dark and flavourful!

We also saw lots of poutines, milkshakes, and ice cream being served.

There is a little bit of seatings inside but of none are available you can sit outside on one of their many picnic tables. It’s cute that they also have a little picnic table for the little ones.

We’ll be back for sure to try other Hot...

This place is my weekend lunch routine, and has been for a few years now. This is my favourite restaurant out of any other on any of the 5 continents I've been to.

I may have had better food. I may have had closer locations to home. I may be able to grab a pint at other places, but this place is an experience. When COVID isn't happening, this is more magical than Disneyland. RBG next door can make your day even more special. Its like the 2 places were made for making smiles. Classic diner style with business cards ranging back from when they first opened lining the walls, classic celeb photos, and Canadian sports moments add to the experience.

Now, during the times of COVID they only allow a couple people in the restaurant, then you go and wait outside. This is fine by me as I'm in a car and can be in AC or heat. The staff are just as friendly and awesome as ever and are quick to get the food out to you.

The entire menu is still being served, just as tasty and heartwarming as ever. If I had a helicopter that moves buildings, I'd go and pick up this place and bring it to Flamborough so I can be closer.......... but the drive is more than worth it.

I applaud...

Ah, Easter Brooks, a living relic, a culinary refuge in Burlington. I dropped in recently—compelled by a sudden need for something real, something honest—and as usual, the food hit like a pleasant sledgehammer. Nothing too wild or complicated: basic menu, but done damn well, the kind of place where simplicity becomes art. Service? Impeccable, almost unnervingly efficient. My order was in front of me faster than you’d expect in this world. Each bite—hot dogs, burgers, and shakes—crackled with flavor, a rare shock of satisfaction in a world of soggy mediocrity. It’s an experience, but not the kind that hits you over the head. No, it creeps up on you as you bask in the pure satisfaction of a perfect, no-frills meal. Inside, it's small, almost too small, cramped even, but who cares? They’ve got outdoor seating, a sanctuary for families, wanderers, and lone seekers alike. A place to take in the real world with a dog in hand and grease on your fingers. Burlington’s finest. Get out there. Try it. This joint is a damn treasure.
