I have shopped there a few times. Went inside for whole wheat pitta bread. The new girl explained well for me the difference between the two whole wheat breads that they have. She also said that ,one is thicker ,and one is thinner. Was very pleased with the cashier's approach. Bought some bread too...
As I am very active on Google, and leave a comment almost everywhere I go, I came outside and wanted to leave a extremely positive comment, because of cashier's positive ,and professional approach, as I was taking a couple of pictures for Google comment one person who was going in the store and was one of the staff just arriving for his shift (this person will be referred to as "the hero" throughout my narration) asked me "can I help u?", and I replied I am ok.... Just as I was sitting in my car ,and getting ready to leave ,a person whom I think is the owner ,came running out of the store asking me "can I help u?" Which I explained I am writing a google comment......he asked me again "is that why u are taking pictures ? " and I replied "yes, why else would I be"....I told him ,he can read my comment later. The supposedly owner's response was good and respectfully over all, but made me think why would a business selling bread ,would be so concerned about a couple of photos taken from outside the store...🤔🤔. Are they hiding something...who knows 🤔🤔. The owner was polite over all, and behaved rationally, but did not apologize........ Obviously the hero (his staff) that saw me outside informed him, and it is ok if owner is concerned but it would have been more professional on their part ,and looked better if the hero that informed the owner (to say he is a good employee), would not have come out with him. Coming out of the hero (the staff) with the owner was a negative point in my book and that is why initially I wanted to leave 5 stars ,but now I am leaving only 3 stars ,thanks to the hero (the staff)...I think the hero thought on his mind ,he was catching a criminal........neither the owner nor the hero(the staff member) was wearing masks. I felt a bit weird ,having to explain myself for taking pictures of the sign outside.
Overall I think their bread quality is good ,and competitive in price, and I wish...
Read moreI have been shopping in PITA factory since 2004 or 2005. The previouse owners were great. Product was good and customer service was great. But since they changed hand customer service went to zero, quality of the bread gone bad. It is always feels dry and I know it is not day fresh but they Insist it is day fresh. Today I visited there and even wearing mask is not mandatory anymore the women working there forced me to wear one so I can enter the store. When I entered the store with my mask and I told her that is not mandatory any more but recomended, she picked up the phone and was saying that "I will call them so they can tell you" I told her it is ok I accepted it and am wearing my mask, just give my bread and I leave but she kept trying to call. I finally told her that i have to leave and she need to finish the phone and I stead selling me the bread. Now she handed 3 pack of stale PITA bread to me with frustration and when I was going to pay with CREDIT CARD she said we don't take card for transaction less than $5. So that was the time I go there. No customer service , no quality instead lots of attitudes....
Read moreThis store is quite small but the price for most of their items are good. Nan bread bags were $4 each or buy 2 get 2 free. Quite a few people buying them for that price. I bought 1 bag of a dozen Everday bagels only for $3.55. Bagels tasted fresh. They only had two different kinds when i was there (every day and what looked like blueberry maybe). Packs of wafers were $2.50 each. I bought a small bag of seconds pizza pretzels which only had about 3 pretzels in it for $4.80, not that cheap but they still tasted fresh and had good flavor. They were out of gluten free tortillas. Overall, not a bad place to go for bagels, Nan bread and tortillas. Don't expect any fancy bread loaves here though.
EDIT: After coming back a second time i found they change up what they put on sale weekly. One week the bagels might be on sale, other weeks it's the Nan bread on sale, etc....
