The best coffee at Glenmore Landing and always FRESH. This is not a donut shop, with the pre-baked donuts. Breakfast through dinner, all covered. Fresh baked on site, there is a reason to try these baked pastries and muffins. The traditional butter croissant that I tried was soft and pulled apart easily the way I love them. TO DIE FOR. Jenny makes my custom bar recipes the way I like them. .Lil' ones have their own space as well and games, even high chairs. That's gr8, always thinking of the little ppl. ! Also 2 washrooms, one on each floor.. Beware of grocery store coffee shops, especially that from a Seattle gorilla. Beware of any coffee sold in Seattle style coffee bars. Coming from the business, I avoid them and their exorbitant prices. That's coffee branding, not coffee quality. Good Earth is direct trade coffee and direct trade benefits the farmers and supports their families. They will give you a sip of brewed coffee -to try- if you're not sure. I have my own exclusive mochaccinos and they can craft them perfectly(Child's Play is just one). Like jet fuel, they rev up my day.The machine they use is the royalty of Caffettiera : La Marzocca. This is an Italian legend. They offer a rewards program and key card to store rewards and money or you can put it on your phone. I'm not the least bit shy to bring my friends there. Yes, I even met my 2 of my BFFS' there, both sweet angels, and I named one :The Most Beautiful Girl In The World . I still have one of the original red mugs from...
Read moreThis doesn’t at all reflect the service I’ve usually received that this location however, this evening my girlfriend and I came in 15 minutes until close and the gentleman behind the counter (long blonde hair in a pony-bun) scoffed at us. We proceeded to order two large espresso fraps with an extra espresso shot in each and he rolled his eyes - I normally tip but this time around the energy didn’t prompt the same response. While we waited for our drinks another guest entered and wasn’t well received - more eye rolls. The drink itself was poorly made and very watery, we noticed there was a lot of extra left over ingredients so we don’t think we got the full three espresso shots, they didn’t taste that great. Didn’t plan on staying around as we knew you were closing but the negative energy would’ve been a deterrent regardless of the time. I hope it was a one off and he normally enjoys his job. If I was an owner of this establishment I’d want to know this is how my cafe was being represented...
Read moreThis used to be our favourite place to come for a coffee and relax. It had great character with all the wood and brick, it felt cozy and welcoming. We stopped in today and it turns out the place has been recently painted all in stark white. When I asked about it I was told that it was done to be more like the downtown location. Unfortunately it has completely ruined the feel of the place. Now it just looks and feels like all the other cookie cutter garbage out there. What was once a unique little haven of warmth in the middle of the city where we could escape from the corporate copy and paste conformity has become yet another sterile clone of everything else out there. It used to feel warm, cozy, relaxing, and welcoming. Now it feels cold, anxious, tense, and uninviting. It is disappointing in the extreme to say the least, and it is unlikely that we...
