Subway — Restaurant in Campbell River

The store itself is very nice. However there is a staff member that works at this store who really stands out amongst the other team members. She is what I'm going to refer to as a Bad Apple! She's been working there for years and quite frankly her customer service is extremely poor. Her poor attitude really brings the store down. However, as another local business owner I realize how hard it can be to find staff these days. But once again this individual really brings down my experience. I almost don't want to order a sandwich when I know this person has the potential to take my order. It is borderline uncomfortable and I almost feel like I'm doing something wrong when I'm asking for what I would like on the sandwich! Once again this store is good and I still recommend that the public uses this location 100%. I do not want this staff member to affect the franchisees business and that is why I still recommend the store. We ordered subs for our 3 day pickleball tournament and our players and volunteers loved them. They were individually wrapped and labelled and were excellent. The staff at the shop were great to deal with and didn't mind that we changed our order slightly on days 2 and 3 to accommodate player requests. 6pm visit. No bread selection (9 grain only at the time), no cookies, no apples slices. Our group of 3 were the only people in the restaurant and it still took 18 minutes for us to receive our 3 subs - extremely loosely wrapped, lightly and unevenly toppinged, and without napkins.
