Stopped in here for lunch during a glorious three-week stay at Sandy Bay Campground at Candle Lake Provincial Park in August 2024. The clubhouse sandwich, pictured, scored a solid 7/10 on the Sintaluta Scale (very respectable) with the fresh sourdough bread being an enjoyable and creative touch. However, I washed that bad boy down with what was, without question, the best damn cup of coffee I'd had all year, perhaps ever... even better than, dare I say it, the locally-roasted Caliber brew served piping hot at the French Press in the Queen City. Agog, I inquired with the server to determine the brand, but was politely rebuffed! It's apparently a house blend of beans whose origins are a closely-guarded secret; after a moment's reflection, I got over my disappointment and simply smiled and nodded in respectful acknowledgement. I salute Emma's Kitchen for their integrity, their craftmanship and culinary savvy, and look forward to my next visit some sunny summer day.

Wonderful gem of a restaurant. Been here several times for breakfast but this was our first visit for lunch. Small seating area which fills up fast at meal times. Lots to choose from on the menu and all meals that guests were eating looked delicious. We ordered the soup of the day which was cream of cauliflower and a clubhouse sandwich and the soup with spinach salad. The salad was gorgeously presented on the plate with dried apple rings and fresh blueberries as garnish. Everything was extremely tasty. Prices were reasonable as well. Will definitely return to try other items on their menu.

I had their Signature Stuffed Hash Browns which are loaded with cheese, sour cream and green onions and it was out of this world. Next, I had the Western Style BBQ Burger with sweet potato fries and their house made cajun aioli sauce. The burger was HUGE and so full of flavour. One of the best burgers I've had! The sweet potato fries had the perfect texture and that aioli was amazing! Great service and great people! I can see why people come from all over the North Okanagan to eat at Tucker's!

I was told if you're passing through Armstrong, BC and you want a good breakfast, pull off the highway and check out Tucker's restaurant.

Yesterday I had the opportunity and at 11am I did just that. Didn't take me long to find it. A smaller rustic restaurant with wooden tables etc at each booth. There was only a couple left when I walked in. Noticed it closed at 2 pm.

Folks they weren't wrong about the food. After being seated and ordering a cup of java, (good coffee too btw) I opted for the supreme omelet at $11.

Fully loaded with ham, veggies and 3 cheeses. A strip of bacon laid across the length of the omelet, real shredded potatoes and whole wheat toast.

OM goodness it was loaded alright and so good. Right from the first mouthful to the last. I was hungry and it took an effort to clean off that plate.

Friendly staff and good service. Oh and might I mention, by the time I left it was full. Folks were continually walking in and out for pick up as well.

It truly was worth it to turn off the highway and check out this little restaurant. Will I be back anytime soon? Heck yeah!

Check it out folks. You won't be...

We always enjoy the food and service here. Yesterday we came in for supper after a day at the beach. We were quickly seated, given menus and had our drinks within a minute. Everything we ordered was awesome. The chef here is talented with attention to detail. The butter chicken with rice I ordered was probably the best I have ever had. Great flavours with just the right amount of heat. Fresh vegetables like bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and onion. My wife had the stir fry rice bowl along with my Mom and they both enjoyed it. The chicken fingers my son had were great quality and he liked them. There is a small shop on the side of the restaurant selling homemade goods and is worth...
