Dont trust the Japanese heritage the only thing Japanese there is the sushi. I had the yakisoba and it was not yakisoba first of all the noodles were not soba noodles they were chinese egg noodles and there was no sauce or anything just a little garnish and 3 chicken piece the size of nugget. They forgot the sauce for all of are sushi 😔 My friend took the pork ramen who was made with instant Raman and had a beef broth who is not even home made????? The pork was filled pork???? They also forgot are seaweed. The eel sushi only had eel on 2/5 sushi. We kinda feel lead on from what the restaurant description is, doesn't mean you have Japanese heritage that you can cook Japanese. Wayyyy over price for stuff that's not homemade, At least we tried we won't be coming back tho. Dont trust the pictures it all change the portions are smaller and everything is worst I wonder what's happening this year hope they go back too how they used too cook. From a fellow Japanese, And a Filipino.

4 stars for the soup and calamari. 5 for the service. It's a remote part of the world for sushi. The sushi is just ok. Came with 5 people. Spent about $300. The prices do not match the quality or quantity of that. Worth a try. Miso soups were the best part. Small tight seating areas, ceiling is like 7 feet, feeling very cramped in here . Very noisey. No a/c so it was humid and stale air. The service was the best part. Not worth the money I spent here. Had my experience. The parking is just as tight as inside. Good luck.

was in caraquet for the first time, as a visitor from nova scotia. i love rural french nb but have never been this far north!

was on my own for the evening and a bit bored with some time to kill, staying at the motel down the road which was also lovely, so checked around a bit to see if anything caught my fancy. lucky for me i noticed on google maps that this place was quite literally a 3 minute walk from my room, and so i popped on a sweater and walked over.

i get the feel that most of the time this place is probably pretty busy as it was about 8pm on a wednesday but still very bustling! the guys who got me in there sat me in a corner, got me the wifi info and checked on me regularly. my server was extremely efficient, and as someone who has worked in foodservice for most of my adult life i appreciate the hell out of that. i had a roll combo + sapporo and just chilled in the corner, listened to my audiobook, and took in the atmosphere. my server was very timely especially considering how busy it was, i felt looked after the whole time which is something i tend to notice more often when im dining solo.

the sushi was fantastic, especially considering it's rural northern nb - i was surprised to see just how varied the menu was, and the whole place had a nice homey feeling vibe so i can see it being a popular hangout for locals/a nice spot for tourists who don't want pizza or fast food. would go back 100% - would give me an excuse to come visit...
