Cardigan Lobster Suppers — Restaurant in Cardigan

Had the pleasure of having lobster dinner here recently. Chowder, salad, mussels, 1 1/4 lb lobster, baked potato with sour cream, corn on the cob and blueberry shortbread for dessert. Fresh rolls were brought out twice during our meal by our awesome server Alex who was extremely attentive and courteous. Our visit ended with a tour of the business by the owner. Tourist season hadn’t hit yet so it was quiet and our courses served promptly. I highly recommend a meal as the food was fantastic and not commercialized. By far the best lobster dinner ever....

My partner and I booked a reso for 830pm looking forward to an authentic lobster supper. We showed up at 833 only to find they closed the restaurant. When my partner called from their parking lot they said that we were late and they closed the doors. We’ve been to a lot of restaurants over time and this has never happened. Quite frankly we are embarrassed for this place and PEI. Everyone speaks about how friendly they are. This in no way reflects on others but suffice to say we were disappointed. Great location, beautiful night sitting on the patio by the river, meal was great, service was fantastic and super friendly. If you’re on this side of the island I would definitely recommend this place although we had a better overall food experience at New Glasgow Suppers Newark cavendish.
