Keating Coffee — Restaurant in Central Saanich

Take the wet/ soggy tomato out of the chicken/ bacon panini. The chips in the " meal" don't make sense. Why not have different bags/ flavors ? Unless due to costs ? Lots of baked goods selection. Didn't try the coffee/ drinks, nice that they have all sanpelligrino flavors. Ice cream was tasty despite being slightly freezer burned/ melted then re-frozen makes ice crystals, takes away from the flavor. Located in a super convenient area, with all the other businesses located around them which has inevitably kept them alive all this time. Just cause of location. I'll go back sometime in the near future to try out other items from time to time and if any improvement, will change my " star" rating...

I recently visited a cafe that had its ups and downs. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a nice place to relax. However, I found the coffee to be quite bitter, which was disappointing. I ordered a cappuccino, and while it had a nice foam, the bitterness overshadowed the overall flavor.

The pastries I tried were fresh and enjoyable, which was a plus. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, the coffee quality is something they definitely need to improve.

All of their sandwiches are made with love and so freaking delicious! Amazing price for the value too, and I love the classic addition of a side of chips with the lunch sandwiches. I’m a huge fan of their croissant breakfast sandwich and their paninis. Service is fast for how steady it is; the owner and staff are genuinely warm and friendly and create a laidback, welcoming atmosphere. This place would be an absolute 11/10 perfection if they’d up their coffee game. I usually venture out a bit further to get my flat white fix, but i have no doubt they would have people driving across town for a good coffee + sandwich pairing if their coffee was just as stellar...
