Hey Folks!!! Are you looking for that piled high pizza, with tons of toppings and a thick layer of flavourful cheese? Do you enjoy when the box is handed to you and you feel the real Heftiness and weight of that delicious pizza. Are you looking for affordable pizza for your family? Are you looking for a pizza that is unmatched by any other in the area? If this is you, avoid this place at all costs. I don’t know what has happened but I think the original Owner must be rolling in his grave. I went to the Keating location on Thursday night for a pizza. Considering the price (I understand everything has increased) I still expect to get a “KEATING” pizza, not a subpar, under topped and under cheesed pie. When you advertise thick cheese and lots of toppings, you have to continue that. You can’t advertise that is who you are then fully cheap Out. I’m sick and tired of going to places and constantly getting screwed over. You charge almost $30.00 for one medium 3 topping pizza. It better have quality ingredients on it and taste good and piled high like you advertise. It wasn’t. The cheese was paper thin. I could see toppings under it. Lol The cheese must have changed to something cheaper too. It’s tasteless. The crust has also changed and is way more airy and thin. Instead of expanding and coming up with more to sell, focus on your main task. Pizza. Keating used to be one of THE pizza spots. Now it’s just another place gouging people and cutting toppings and items you get. It’s sad. I’ll not be back. I’ll tell friends not to support this either. This day and age you can’t just keep charging more and giving less. If you want to charge that price, you gotta put the toppings on. The item needs to be quality! Maybe look at some places that do it up old school. You might learn something!
Update I just wanted to say thank you for your response. I noticed I’m the first one you’ve responded to, after taking over. I guess I hit a nerve. The thing is. Dominos gets a 5 star review because they are consistent. When they weren’t, they more than made up for it and made me feel like my dollars spent were valuable to them. They deserved a 5 star review. They are polite and are concerned with customer feedback. Clearly, from your response, customer service and taking criticism is not your strong suit. I called out the pizza because it was subpar and not...
Read moreThis is my second time here. It's a 5 minute walk from my house but they say they won't deliver on my street (Marisa Crt near Keating X and Central San intersection). The 1st time I went here the pizza wasn't that great, not a lot of flavor in the sauce, pepperoni was weird. Today my pizza was still doughy in the center and the veggies were all raw. The pizza seemed toasted on top and that was it. It wasn't even piping hot when I picked it up, just warm at best. The onions weren't cut up. Each slice I bit into a large round of a thick-cut, raw, disc of onion. The entire pizza was overwhelmed with raw onion taste and smell. I like them raw in salad, but not expecting cold, thick, unseparated slabs of onion on my pizza. The garlic was also raw and overwhelming. I love garlic, but raw is a bit much. They don't chop the spinach and they place it under the cheese so it's just slimy and makes all of the other ingredients just side off of the dough. A big mouthful of tepid slimy spinach is gross. I can't tell if the sauce had any flavor this time because it all tastes like raw onions. The bacon is ok, but we all have an expectation of crumbled bacon on pizza. It didn't say back bacon or Canadian bacon. So it's pretty much just chunks of ham. Ok but not what would be expected. I'm so disappointed because I want to support local small restaurants. The employees are extremely friendly and polite. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Five stars to the customer service, but unfortunately I would give the...

You know a place is legit when you take your first bite and realize this is how pizza is supposed to be. Keating Pizza doesn't skimp, doesn't compromise, and definitely doesn't mess around when it comes to toppings. I’m talking about actual layers of flavor, not the sad sprinkle of cheese and a lonely pepperoni some places call a "slice." No, this is real pizza hearty, unapologetic, and built like the pizza gods intended.
Still can’t believe the Fairfield location closed down because people were complaining about too much cheese?? What kind of dystopian cheese-hating timeline are we living in?! As far as I'm concerned, that was a public service, not a problem. RIP to that glorious cheese-heavy legend.
Even though it’s a 45-minute round trip for me, I’ll happily make the pilgrimage for a box of Keating’s finest. I’ve driven longer for worse decisions. This one ends with pizza, so it’s always worth it.
Seriously, if you’ve never had Keating Pizza, do yourself a favor go hungry, bring napkins, and prepare to be ruined for all other pizza...
