Subway — Restaurant in Centre Hastings

We stopped by this subway at approx 8pm on a Friday night and it was hands down the BEST subway sandwich we've both had. We lost hope for the subway franchise long time ago being from the GTA but will be sure to stop by here each time we're in the area. The sandwich bread was fresh and not stale or hard, the veggies and sauces were generous and made it amazing. The best subway we've been to. Thank you!

Edit to add updated review on 2024-08-19 in regards to atmosphere and service. We passed by this subway again on a Sunday afternoon and while the experience with the sandwich was great, the location was absolutely filthy. When the store was slow, the two workers were always in the back, neither of them bothered to come clean any tables as guests left, or bothered to clean the floor of all the food everywhere. I carry Lysol wipes and cleaned my own table and chair but other people do not carry this kind of stuff. I would urge subway to train their employees that part of customer service is to make sure place where your customers eat is clean and ready for them...

I'm a regular, I get my sub is annoying but to be called greedy becuase I like to get my money's worth and would rather taste more food than bread is absolutely not costumer service. I have worked the food industry and if I ever talked to a costumer the way your staff talked to me today I would be in trouble. Your staff could have simply left out the greedy part and just explained that it is hard for them to grill my sub with all the toppings. Their opinions of how I buy my food isn't wanted or needed. It will be awhile again before I buy here becuase this isn't the first time I have been called greedy. I can get the bread and toppings and have more than 1 sub for the price...

Half the vegetables were rotten from being frozen in the chill trays. I gave them another shot a week later....assuming was an equipment problem but still freezing lettuce to sides of pot. Everything ended up turning to mush in sub instantly once it thawed. The staff were completely disinterested, talked amongst themselves in another language while making subs. This happens at other subways but why have a giant chart full of subs with a specified list of ingredients and pictures if none of the staff have a clue what's on them. Ask for a "green goddess" for example and once past the bread and cheese they just ask what you want on it. Makes no...
