Sadly disappointing. I used to love this place but the service, price, and quality of food have suffered. It's still good though, just not great anymore. It's very average. The salmon fresh enough but was very bland like it was never seasoned. You can get a better service and value for your money elsewhere. Make this restaurant your last choice when in Chelsea. If you're looking for good seafood prepared on point with good flavour, try the Fish Market on Merivale in Ottawa. If you're dinning in Chelsea and are looking for a comparable price point, try the Manchester or Chelsea Pub. Both are better. My preference is the Chelsea Pub which btw is not...

Really sad to see the changes in this place under new ownership. Service was not especially friendly and the empty dining room should have served as a warning sign. Ordered the staple fish and chips and the chips were over cooked and the batter on the fish was soggy. A complaint to the server received an explanation that the oil in the fryer had been changed that day and was too new. Huh? Without its colourful local art, Quebec beers and wines on offer and inspiring specials and deserts, this place has lost its quaint appeal. Doubtful I will return. RIP...

What a shame! Great food but mismanaged and chaotic. If you're lucky enough to get decent service, then you'll enjoy the food. But there's a limit... waiting over an hour for fish and chips!! Then being told you are not welcomed back, and being kick out rudely! This restaurant doesn't merit your patronage. We are foodies and this restaurant rates very low because of their attitude of "if you don't like it leave" ! There are many other places that are as good or better, that will treat you properly!
